Simple, yet very effective way, for ALL to spread the TTATT to current JW family and friends, possible GAME CHANGER.
by Dunedain ini am sure this has probably been thought about, and maybe others have mentioned it already.
in fact, i cant even take credit for this brilliant idea.
it is a "tactic" that my father uses, to great effect, and he is a current jw.. as we all know, there is a wealth of info on the internet, and many other sources, that clearly exposes the many lies of the wts.

I have no real interest in making others see the light - when I stopped going it was because I had decided it wasn't right for me.
It's up to each individual to decide whether it's right for them or not.

Some thoughts on guilt.
by New day inhad an interesting conversation with my wife recently.
she struggles with physical, emotional and psychological problems which have often caused her to miss meetings.
she mentioned how she is equally tortured by guilt if she misses meetings and ministry, and severe stress if she does them.

Wow, I can say no!
The first time is always the most difficult - it gets easier!

Did you participate in a Drama?
by Hecce ini am bringing this up because even it was a lot of work, for the majority of the friends this was a rewarding experience.
camaraderie, joking, costumes, props and when the time came the celebrity status of being in the drama.. back in the 50s and 60s, conventions could be as long as 8 days and from about 1966 the dramas became an integral part of the program.
we had one per day and the brothers looked forward to their presentation.

Don't answer their questions - they're being judgemental tossers.
Good luck with your wife.

out for a long time
by Sledracer inmy husband and i have been out for a long time, maybe fifteen years, i must say we are in a bit of a nowhere land spiritually, we find it impossible to attend any other church.
we really resent so much of how they messed up our and our children's lives.
we can't get back all those 25 years we were in.

It can mean big changes when you stop going to the meetings and see it for what it is.
Don't feel you have to replace it with another religion, spend the time with your family, your friends, take up new interests. Enjoy life.

Evolution vs Creationism.
by Labate inperhaps this has been discussed in the past, but i can't help noticing that on many posts creation vs evolution seems to equal theist vs atheist.
granted, a creationist by defination would have to believe in a creator.
on the other hand, believing in evolution doesn't automatically make one an atheist, a small point perhaps, but i think it would be more accurate to say believer vs nonbeliever.. just sayin'..

You learn something new everyday!
You;ll have to forgive my ignorance - I thought all christian belief was founded on the lieral ransom. Seems convenient that they can discard what the find difficult as allegorical though.
