...would you choose to ban the JW religion?
If you wouldn't ban them what, if any, changes would you force upon them?

just saw this commercial and was very impressed.
hoping more companies start doing the same.
most of us are immigrants.
They are regulated to the extent they have virtually never been used in a crime or homicide since the Prohibition era.
To be fair, Americans seem to be managing quite well to kill other Americans without them.
Ha - he really does have a facebook page!
I thought FB was still officially frowned upon?
a new commadment to the posting guidelines.
we must love one another.. if i read the posting guidelines and saw the lurking presence of that new commadment " we must love one another" i would feel very uneasy about registering.
it sounds more like a threat than an expression of love.
I gave you the like - and tbh after reading it a third time I started to see what you're getting at (I think).
I've always been a big believer that it's fine not to see eye to eye with someone; to disagree with them and not particularly like them as a person. That's fine. That's life.
That doesn't mean that basic human decency shouldn't be present though. If someone I didn't particularly like, my mother in law for instance ;), turned up on my doorstep in need of help I hope I would do my best to help her, as she would do for me I hope.

I think there's a rule about posting gibberish as well.
Just sayin ....
i am currently reading the new history of the holocaust by british historian laurence rees and it reminded me of a comment in the awake!
magazine i read years ago and trusted as factual.
i quote both passages without comment.
Yes, I don't think it's ever been a secret that the concentration camps were known about - despite what the Awake says.
i haven't read Rees' new one but I have got his Auschwitz - The Nazis and the final solution and it's really good.
if you've never been to Auschwitz and Birkenau and you get the chance you should go. It's a place that should never be forgotten.
Krakow is a beautiful city and well worth a visit and Schindler's museum is there as well.

My understanding, which could be mistaken, is that they didn't hide the concentration camps but they did hide their extermination facilities.
This is the main reason they destroyed the gas chambers when they fled Birkenau after the russians liberated it.
awake!
1 2017 says on its back page.
the saharan silver ant (cataglyphis bombycina) is one of the most heat-tolerant land animals known.
What do you think? Did the compound heat shield of the Saharan silver ant come about by evolution? Or was it designed?
I think it's an excellent example of an evolutionary adaption to a particular environment.
i don't they could have picked a worse example to try to disprove evolution
the latest young jehovah's witness mother to die in childbirth by following the terrible medical advice of watchtower writers.. https://www.niyitabiti.net/2017/02/nigerian-jehovah-witness-allegedly-dies-of-excess-bleeding-during-child-birth-because-church-doesnt-permit-blood-transfusion/.
Am I missing something here?
To all those doubting the validity of this story saying it's a facebook story, when I click it takes me to a Nigerian news website.
Again, am I missing something?
Because the only source the newspaper references is a single FB post - there's a pic of the post in the article.
I'm now at the stage where I'm extremely sceptical of any 'news' on the internet unless it's from a verifiable reputable source.
this is the first time i've read through a watchtower magazine in about a year.
although i've been our only 8 months it really git me how crazy i must have sounded when i was a jw talking to non jws.. while other bible based religions talk about the 4 horsemen and back up their theories with other scriptures or historical evidence, the watchtower have taken so such steps.
1914 is thrown in there as if it's universally agreed that jesus started ruling since then.. even when i was a jw i never really understood why, if the pale horse represents jesus, why is he first?
This is the first time I've read through a Watchtower magazine in about a year.
Based on the WT that got stuffed through our door a couple months back it won't have taken long - there was only about 5 pages in it!
