  Why do so many people believe that jesus is god?

  i still say that, christiaity is f--- up in these last days.. christianity teaches that the messiah is god, when the bible clearly points out that jesus is a prophet sent by god... jesus prayed to god<----that's the biggest proof... so i think if anybody believe that jesus is god, is not only an'-ti-christ(not accepting) but also a liar, foolish, and you knoweth nothing, and you are not close to god or christ, you are closer to that devil which we call satan....

  I believe:

  YHWH Father and YHWH Son are TWO VERY DIFFERENT beings.

  It was YHWH Son who died, NOT Father.

  I believe two scales needed to be rebalanced because of Satanic rebellion:

  The man Jesus (Perfect) - The man Adam (Imperfect)

  This earthly scale above was rebalanced by the death of the PERFECT MAN Jesus on earth. Life for life.

  The God Jesus (True God) - Satan the Devil (False God)

  This heavenly scale above was rebalanced by the death of the prehuman TRUE GOD Jesus in heaven. His life as YHWH in heaven was taken by Father YHWH. (see Abraham and Isaac) Father sacrificed his Son in heaven.

  Please note BOTH conditions satisfy life for a life in heaven as on earth. Both scales become rebalanced.

  OK, I was a wuss today.....

  i have seen my share of horrors in my life; my own; others when i worked on the ambulance and in the funeral home.

  i've come home covered in someone else's blood and dealt with death on numerous times.

  i have been to the dentist five times in the past month.

  What should I do?

  this isn't jw related, but i was hoping to get some feedback on a problem that i'm having.. here's the deal.

  yesterday my downstairs neighbor told the maintenance man that she want to shoot us (my family).

  i've known for about 2 years that she has some mental problems and was somehow focused on us, but i didn't realize to what extent.. two years ago, around christmas, we came home from somewhere and saw 2 christmas cards laying on the rug outside our door.

  I have a kid brother that is such and is very delusional when not taking his meds.

  This person needs medical attention if you ask me.

  many of the posters here have been in the organization for years.during the time that you have been associated, have you ever had to go before a commitee?

  did you confess to something or were you confronted by the elders?

  were you ever accused of something but it couldn't be proven?

  Yup. Twice.

  Confronted Twice.

  First time accused of falsehoods and they WOULD not present accusers or present any witnesses. Second time accused of truthhood. (Celebrated X-mas, and was reported) We admitted our decision to celebrate Christ.

  Did your experience with the elders affect your view of the organization?

  Yup. The first time was PURE madness...that's when we started to drift off.
