i wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has posted here as i have been reading all of them.

i have realized that i am not alone in my struggles and the realization that the " truth" is a bunch of crap.

i have been over come with emotion over the last years or so.

we went to the memorial and it was so weird - we are on vacation so everyone knew we weren’t regulars - i noticed 3 things.

sisters hugging my wife like they have known her for years.

a brother asked where we were from and i told him and he immediately went into this preprogrammed rant about this “brother “ metro witnessing , and he dropped so many initials i could not keep up - rbc - and about 5 others - what is he new lingo ?

good morning, .

sexual abuse is most certainly the most horrific type of child abuse, but the more i read the more i realize that anyone born into the "cult" is a victim.

we are all victims of lying, emotional and spiritual abuse over years or over decades.

Physical Symptoms with the mention or thought of Borg, JW, etc

good morning , .

does anyone else have physical symptoms with the mention of jw ,borg, wt, etc.

my wife mentioned that we should study the watchtower with the kids and just the thought made me physically anxious and mildly nauseated.

i have yet to read about the contradictions in the jw teachings on blood, but i have personally witnessed one.

i am a medical professional and have seen hemopure administered for an active jw who did refuse a blood transfusion.

its not fda approved here, but given in special life saving circumstances.

What’s with Pastor Russell and Miracle Wheat ?

i have researched pastor russell and miracle wheat , has any one found out some interesting information?

it seems he sold the wheat at a premium and promised 5 x yield ?

he denies selling - as he did not know , but he is a snake oil salesman.

I feel like I am going crazy at times ...

good evening , .

i feel like i am going crazy - it’s so hard not being able to talk to the ones i love about how i really feel - meaning the “ truth “ is a big lie and a big waste of time.

it’s so weird - i can’t talk to my wife , or kids about how i really feel and it’s causing me probalms that i recognize.

i can’t prove i am a better person because of it , but in some ways i can prove how it has damaged me.

the late great christopher hitchens states that religion is poison and i believe that with my soul.

we are “ born sick and commanded to be well.” under threat of death- both of my parents were abused both physically and emotionally, my wife was what it sounds like verbally abused - the strange part is they don’t see that they are attached to a very abusive religion.
