  i see there has already been discussion over lloyd’s new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

  this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.

  i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.

  As to why Paul Grundy claimed that Lloyd could have made more in other businesses, I don’t think it requires that he either knew Lloyd well or was making a guess. Another possibility is that Lloyd boasted to him in those exact terms and Paul simply believed what he said.

  Could it be part of a sales technique? For instance, Lloyd could have made more money doing ______, but he made the sacrifice of being a full-time critic of Watchtower instead. So we must support Lloyd's "work" because he is giving up so much more by being a anti-Watchtower vlogger.

  How can anybody live in a country for over a decade and not have a better grasp on the language? I realize many people over there already speak English which would make his life easier, but to never learn when you don't have a regular hours type of job is pure laziness.

  As for the rest of this thread, LOL. This didn't age well. However if we could see into the future, many things would be much different. I know I have many mistakes I would love to reverse.

  Lloyd is behaving like a good ol jw elder. He has arranged a judicial commitee, has notified the brothers about it and vaguely told them what is it about. But has completely avoided any detail.

  Like a jw committee meeting, Lloyd would like for there to just be a verdict with no trial.

  It is very interesting to see. Lloyd Evans claims a crime was committed, but will not go into specifics as to what crime. He "invites" 12 people to pay him money to resolve their "crime" and I assume all would be forgiven once the payment was made. He then says he has sued 7 of those 12. None of the other 5 have made payments have they? I know for a fact that 3 of those 5 have not paid Lloyd money. Would Lloyd have given the money back had they paid and he realized they had not committed a "crime" against him? I doubt it. But the evidence is he decided 5 people must not be guilty as he dropped them from his ongoing "criminal lawsuit."

  Yes, to varying degrees, we have seen all of those behaviors the Mayo Clinic listed from Lloyd Evans.

  I have been thinking about something Lloyd wrote regarding his mother. He basically said that the criticism regarding his marriage, prostitutes and how he conducted his business this year has been worse on him than his mother dying of cancer. It would appear that he would much rather his mother be dead than endure criticism from his own actions. So much for the family man image.

  Am I supposed to read 354 pages of slander and speculation about underaged girls (,in the ,USA.. oh yeah I forgot the USA polices the world?) That this is the most popular post on this site is sad.

  I believe most members are not in the USA. What is more sad is a man that admits he can't control himself, especially his sexual urges.

  Look simon I respect you and Lloyd. I see you have differances but so what? Attack a guy on vacation trying to sort his infidelity out and you care.

  Hete: A quagmire or morass, a swampy, soggy spot. Hete is a relatively small soggy area, but big enough to stop a man or horse.

  so we have been "green" blowing up all our coal power plants now they are saying we are like north korea...expect regular power blackouts.

  Meanwhile the UK government has just announced that electric car grants have been scrapped with immediate effect.

  That is good news. I don't mind electric bicycles and scooters for short commutes. I have and love my e-bike for that. Electric cars are too expensive, too heavy and too inefficient for what is usually one person in the car. I suppose the same can be said for gas powered cars, which is why I have a motorcycle and e-bikes. Still in high wind, rain, and snow a car is needed.

  Those green goobers are trying the same garbage in the USA as well. We've been warned to expect rolling blackouts. Meanwhile they want us to buy battery powered cars. Exactly how is that supposed to work without the ability to charge them?

  Imagine me claiming that aliens had taken over the Calgary tower. I could post a pic of the Calgary tower. It's not even proof I was there myself, and do you believe aliens have taken over the Calgary tower?

  Any time Ian Punnett hosts Coast To Coast AM he always opens the show by asking any hostile aliens orbiting Earth to "eat the Canadians first." It could happen.
