Can anybody hold back from vomiting long enough to share a quote or two...?
This program is historic! The first broadcast was in October 2014. Seven months have flown by. That means each of the governing body members have had the opportunity to host one of our monthly programs. And were now starting over again.
Hmm. . .starting over again? Sounds like he turned on some nu-lite there?

The Bible Does Not Say - But ...
by berrygerry inpainfully reading an article of may 15, 2015 (extra-simplified edition) and again observed this phraseology: the bible does not say, but .... so, did satan hope to tempt her with the luxurious palaces of pharaoh and abimelech?
did satan think that she would betray her husband and even jehovah by marrying one of those kings?
the bible does not say, but it is very likely that the devil would have been overjoyed if sarah had lost the opportunity to become part of the messiahs family line.. .

I was always told that when someone uses the word "but", as in "The Bible doesn't say, BUT. . .", that that is exactly what they are going to make of themselves. -

@ Doctor Who
I made an almost identical comment. I stated that, "Only a few short years ago we enjoyed a soliloquy at our circuit assembly that forcefully drove home the point that it is materialistic to purchase the latest electronic device, and the waste of time spent learning how to effectively use them that could otherwise be spent in the preaching work. And how dangerous the internet is, likening it to a backyard full of rattlesnakes, and both being distracting tools of Satan. Now Jehovah's Witnesses have fully embraced those very tools."
Same thing here. Heads bobbing like bobble-head dolls and shlt-eating grins.

They only care about themselves......
by dubstepped ini've watched the reaction to the nepal disaster for the first time with eyes opened.
lots of comments about praying for the brothers and sisters affected.
the official release on the website references only the sister and her two children that died, along with the impact on the brothers there.

Relief work? Not so much. . . PREACH!
Sheesh, THAT will really clothe, feed, or show hospitality to those severely impacted by disaster, won't it? (Mat. 25: 42-26)

Witnesses Preach to Dog
by snugglebunny in"in el salvador, one man tied his vicious dog in front of the door whenever he saw jehovahs witnesses nearby.
the man would wait for the witnesses to move on, and then he would bring the dog back into the house.
the brothers were never able to speak to the man.

Add my vote in the BS column. I heard this same story years ago, and it was set in the United States.
Also having had dogs that were very protective of my property I know for a fact that they would have had to be screaming to be heard above the dogs barking and snarling. Unless of course they got close enough to just "talk" and the dog for some reason suddenly became gentle and just stood there and "listened". Way too much wrong with this story to pass the sniff test. As we say in my area about tall stories, "That dog won't hunt!"

Taken from the website, this is the most recent "news" and should pretty well answer to what extent JDubya's provide any relief.
A disaster relief committee based in Vanuatu’s capital, Port Vila, has provided food, potable water, and basic shelters to some 100 Witness families. In addition, one ton of relief supplies was sent to the Witnesses in Tanna to provide for their immediate needs. .
Jean-Pierre Francine, a spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses in New Caledonia, states: “We are grateful for the aid from abroad as well as the government agencies that have assisted our fellow worshipers.
So not only do they refuse meaningful help for anyone not of the same religion, they suck up government relief that could have been used for those poor souls who are not the victims of the "love" the JDub's show.

Today's WT
by OneFingerSalute inso today's wt seems to put out the idea that during early christian times it was god's hand that made the romans build roads, have strong laws, etc.
to make the preaching easier.. anyone else notice that?
some here really banged on about how great it was that god did that, just for them.

Added two-cents.
First section states, "To what extent God maneuvered first century developments the Bible does not say," and then proceeds to imply that factors to be considered were the result of God's desire to see the preaching done.
The second section quotes some un-named "reference" book as stating that, "Never in human history had there been so long a span of general tranquility, and never again was peace to be maintained so steadily among so many people." Yet just a few short years ago the WT mined quotes saying that 1914 ENDED a period of unrivaled peace and tranquility.
The third section was about Roman roads etc. being so great for early Christians to use, and also made the point of how safe roads were because criminals feared R where the were that Paul was in so much danger from?
The fourth section bragged about the "unity" of Christians using one common language, Greek. Now with English being pretty well common in business use world wide today I wonder how the spin will be put on unity from the 700 languages that the WTB&T$ brags about translating into?
Next up came Roman law. The conductor made a point of asking if it is wrong to refuse to take part in secular government affairs and still use all the benefits of government? So many greedily offered up the idea that using government assistance etc. was only right. But NEVER perform any other duties of a citizen!
Then they had a section about the benefit of Jews being scattered all over know world at that time. The terms Christians and Jews were pretty well used interchangeably. And of course they made appoint of saying that Jews met in synagogues and so JW's meet in kingdom halls to follow the Jews pattern.
The last section was a chance for commenters to praise the governing body as God channel to prepare the nations for the teachings of God. and the conductor claimed that gb member Splane said God used the Catholic church to spread the use of the Bible during the 1900 year between Christ and 1914.
