if you go to their bible at genesis 18: starting at verse 3 you will read that abraham sees jehovah yep sees him, with a couple of other men (angel's) then talks to him about getting water to wash his feet.
then he runs to sarah and talks to her about preparing food for jehovah.
so let me get this strait abraham sees jehovah face to face, jehovah has feet and apparently likes to eat human food too.
The JDubya's have long tried to explain this away by saying it was only an angel representing Jehovah. Yet IF it was an angel and Abraham bowed down to him why didn't that angel have the same attitude that is claimed by the angel in Revelation 22: 9?
Maybe the angels got some nulite about letting people bow down to them?

we look closely at the picture and we can know exactly what he is counseling the brother about.

This time it was the close trimmed, neat, well-arranged beard that I am now sporting that had the eldurr's panties in a wad. I was informed that there were some in the congregation that were offended, and that he is sure I "don't want to stumble someone do you?" I asked for a reason from the Bible why I should not wear one when it was my choice to wear one? He read 1 Corinthians 8: 9 which says, "But keep watching that your right to choose does not somehow become a stumbling block to those who are weak." I guess some of what I remember from the Bible has stuck with me, because I came back with Psalms 119: 165. "Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble." Then I asked if perhaps he should concentrate on strengthing those weak ones instead of trying to force me to conform to weak ones who evidently must not really love the law of God.
He only mumbled and then quickly excused himself claiming to need to take care some other matters.
In another conversation it was mentioned that the Warwick compound is going ahead so fast. They are housing the workers (slaves) in the residence buildings now. They(the workers)have no transportation, they are in the middle of nowhere, and they have nothing to do after supper just sitting in the room with no real amenities so they just go back to work. That is why so much is getting done so "fast". BOREDOM!
ah just more evidence of the work "speeding up during the time of the end".

i started getting slighted for the music i listened to as i lay in my bedroom listening on headphones to led zeppelin's song " black dog " at age 14 with my elder dad looking suspiciously at me as i'm rocking out .

just curious...is anyone hearing the older/infirm ones speaking out to others on how they are being treated in the congregation?
without giving anything away, i have spoken to so many older ones (some are sickly or can't drive in the evening or can't drive at all) who can't make it to all the meetings, assemblies, etc., that are complaining on how they are being treated by the more righteous ones in the hall.
the ones i have spoken to make the comment that it seems to be the younger elders that have less empathy and concern for these ones.
Ah, @dbq407, I think that is the reason my dear parents are now being unofficially shunned.
My father commented to me at the time all the new shiny electronic gadgets were bought for their KH so the congregation could watch GBTV, all the loony videos for the CLAM etc., and then began their blatant pandering for money during every local needs that he was no longer going to contribute anything. And he quit giving money.

This, IMO, is the best question so far. IF, and that is a very big if, he were to answer, "yes" would hang them all as accomplices. "No" would admit willful ignorance and also expose them for the uncaring, pompous as-a-wholes they are.
i have friends that pretty much need to be in a relationship.
if they aren't with somebody, they are miserable.
if they are in a relationship, they are unhappy.. do you feel that you need to be n a relationship or are you content to be single..
The only way being single (IMO) is a poor choice is in the very narrow definition of what a single person can do for recreation in the JDub religion.
If you choose to be single you automatically remove at least one half of the oh so "loving" congregation as associates. Remember, according to WT men and women cannot associate without jumping in the sack for some mattress acrobatics. Of course you will then feel like a third wheel because most everyone else is married (usually miserably). Besides who wants to hang around with squabbling people?
For me being true to myself, enjoying a wide range of people both male and female on a completely friendly level is the most important. However the greatest majority of my female associates are not JDub's for very good reason. And if one of my single woman friends happens to want some very discreet extra attention, well that is like icing on the cake.
