She lacks any reasoning ability and doesn't care. How could someone be smart in alot of areas be so mentally lacking in this area.

It's not really about lacking reasoning ability or "Smarts", It's about the level of indoctrination that your wife is in.

What you could do is "Pull the Headship Doctrine Card" and call it a Royal flush.

Is "Active Publishers" a new concept?

i just saw the congregation analysis report for 2020, a form i have not noticed before.

it asks for the number of "active publishers.

" this is a term i have not seen specified before.

I was wondering why they hadn't done this a few years back. I knew it would only be a matter of time since the Organization is going through a drain. The only thing that surprises me is that they still hold on to the six consecutive months instead of changing it to 12 consecutive months for a member to become officially inactive.

All they are doing now is trying to evade the inevitable for as long as possible.

It's what I would do if my business was going sour!

what was confusing at first when this pandemic started, was why in some states or, in the same state but different cities, or same city but different county, or same county but different towns, some of the leaders like city council, mayor, or governor would shut down businesses in one area, but allow other businesses of the same nature to stay open.

for example, shut down a car wash in one area of town, but allow another car wash to stay open in another area of town.

the answer is very simple----corruption by the leaders.. this is why voting is not only important, but, also getting to know as much as possible who you are voting into office.

some believe protesters have the “right” to block main roads, traffic and other places simply because they have a right to protest something.. in la, two deputies were ambushed and shot in the head and as the ambulance tried to take the fallen deputies to the emergency room, protesters blocked the way chanting they wished the police would die!

So the elders gave my 19 year old daughter a shepharding call depression ensues!

against our wishes she got baptised at 16 because she got brainwashed by her cousin.

the last year or so she hasn't been so gung ho about the "truth".

anyway the elders came down on her for not getting her time in the last couple months because she absolutely hates zoom letter writing.

One of my little brothers was also getting negative advice from the elders once he turned 15. Our parents were jws so all of us are born in the religion and we had to deal with all the WT crap. I never got baptized and left the house at 18. But my brother was feeling the pressure to get baptized, to reach out for pioneering, and Ministerial Servant. My parents thought they were doing my little brother a favor by letting the elders take him under their wing. Instead my brother started getting very depressed to the point that he was talking suicide. My parents let me know and I started taking my brother with me on Weekends.

I knew what my brother was going through because the elders did the same thing with me. So I took less than 10 minutes a week to google any article that dealt with people putting down other people and copy and paste about half a page of information and read it to my brother and give it to him and told him to just go over it for a week and we would talk about it the next weekend.

The purpose of the articles was to let my brother know that there are people in this world that tear people down and we need to stay away from them.

Every week I would give my brother a half of page of information dealing with this subject and what we could do about it.

In around six months my brother started avoiding all the elders. He made all kinds of excuses not to meet with them. He did the same with our parents. He learned how to deal with these types of people by just reading the small articles that I copy and pasted for him.

Today my little brother is finishing his degree in Civil Engineering and he never got baptized.

We have done the same with my other brothers and sisters, and so far none of them have gotten baptized.

Here is an example of copy and paste that I would give my brother. It took me less than 3 minutes to find and paste.

Why is it necessary to protect ourselves?
See, the tragedy is that if you’re told enough times that you’re not good enough sooner or later you’ll start to believe it, especially if the someone who’s telling you you’re not good enough is someone you care about or love.
People who bring you down do things that make progress more difficult or more painful. We are all trying to move forward in life and make progress. Happiness and success is what we all strive to achieve. Having someone tell us we are not good enough or that we can’t achieve anything makes our progress very difficult
You need to take control of your happiness. The only happiness you can count on is the kind you create with your own effort. This kind of happiness comes from the process of progress.

The Re-Opening of the Kingdom Halls

it's been six months since the kingdom halls have been closed.

i believe here in ontario, canada that you are now allowed to have up to 50 people congregate together.. that was the average attendance before they did all the merging of the congregations.

they should have went back to the original pre-merger congregations.

I'm not so sure I agree with this hypothesis which is made on the basis of limited evidence.

Here is the "EVIDENCE" that I see on exjw reddit.

In just a few years their membership has grown to 56,0000

These confused kids are labeled as dumb-----

yet they figured out the Watchtower was not the TRUTH before they turned 18. Some are as young as 13 and already know the Watchtower is a cult and are already planning on leaving the cult once they turn 18.

Yet many here didn't figured it out till their 50's or older????

Many old exjw redditors that stopped posting several years ago pop in from time to time to encourage the young ones still trapped in a JW household. They relate their own stories of what happened afterwards when they were shunned by family and kicked out of the house with nothing.

Many of them lived in shelters for a while and worked their way out and into an apartment while at the same time going to school and finishing College. Many of them have turned out to be Engineers, Nurses, others have been accepted into medical school. others have been accepted into law schools.

You call them "confused kids asking stupid hypothetical questions"------That's because they are kids, some as young as twelve. But some of the hypothetical questions are biblical, like "Where will all the resurrected ones fit when they come back, will they be put on other planets?"

These kids are asking hypothetical questions that when answered, make no sense and they see that all ready at a young age. The older ones then step in and explain to them why such a teaching is ludicrous. And that's how these young kids learn at an early age that they are in a cult and need to escape.

Then there are tons of kids that post asking for help because they are being sexually abused and want to commit suicide. There are many members that step in and help them with encouragement and direction to contact suicide prevention organizations. Then months or years later these same kids post a letter of "THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE"

These exjw redditors are the generation that will not stay in the organization till they hit their 50s and it's too late to do anything about it.

One of my best friends comes from the exjw reddit group. He just started Law school and he is only 22 years old. He credits exjw Reddit with saving his life from the cult.

So I disagree that that site has no value.

hillary clinton is telling all democratic supporters to be ready to fight if trump wins.

other democratic leaders are telling the masses to destroy everything in their cities and cripple the economy if trump is elected president.

other democratic leaders are appealing to the military who support the democratic agenda to step in and stop any arm citizens on the side of trump if he is elected, and remove the president by force if he wins the election.. hillary clinton is making it clear to the democratic supporters, that joe biden will become president -after president trump becomes elected.. looks like a dictator coup d'état,to overthrow the usa government by non-democratic means is now in the making.

Again, she is SPECULATING that the Trump camp will do something(s) unethical and is advising JOE BIDEN not to succeed IF that were to happen.

Both Hillary and Joe Biden belong to the Democratic Party. Both are fighting for the same agenda and platform. Both have said nothing about the rioting and burning of all our cities until now that many Democrats are leaving their support.

Do you actually believe that Hillary and Joe Biden have no access to each other considering Hillary is furious that the citizens rejected her and voted for Trump? And Joe Biden’s chances of winning the Presidency all depend on Trump. He’s the HUGE WALL in the way of him getting the Presidency.

If as you say, Hillary is ADVISING JOE BIDEN, and JOE BIDEN ONLY, then why not advice him IN PRIVATE?

Why the need for her to make sure her comments on the need to NOT CONCEDE ---be televised on all networks, put on YouTube, facebook, instagram, etc. if the advice is ONLY FOR JOE BIDEN.

If I want to advice one person, I talk to them ALONE.

If I want to subtly get a mass of people to do something for me, I will go on TV-video and in a clever and indirect way, say what I want done in order to achieve something.

Why do you think the Governing Body regularly go on video to talk to it’s members. They are not as stupid as some think.
