I found this experience on reddit today. Disfellowshipping never really bothered me. I always thought it was just another way of getting rid of members that weren't welcome anymore.
But I've changed my mind. I now believe it's really a bad practice.

What are they hoping to gain from this insincere virtue signalling?
They are not really hoping to gain anything per say, but are using the BLM rhetoric as a means for DIFFERENT AGENDAS. Depending on the “Group” embracing it.
This is a visible characteristic of who we are and the way we act as---(the human species.)
We were not created in God’s image, instead we are a unique species on the planet, with many flaws, both physically, mentally and emotional.
We develop culture, and sometimes that culture is just plain wrong, but it continues until we dig ourselves out of it.
For example, not long ago the culture in the United States was that slavery was a God Given Right. But little by little we started growing out of it. (It did cost many lives to get out of it---Civil War)
Now the United States as well as most of the Western world is going through another culture change. Don’t know how it will turn out.
But in General ,”People hold potentially misguided beliefs for all sorts of reasons” and then they run with it until another group stands up and puts a stop to it.
People want to be loyal to the values of their family, friends, political party, or religion. Some want to make a good impression for their boss and potential future employers. Others want to avoid conflict around those with whom they know will disagree.
And that’s what happening right now. The BLM ideology has been born and it has now spread to the point of infecting other Governments.
The human species has the capability of being rational, Yet at the same time often reasons very poorly to the detriment of many innocent victims.Causing havoc that will take years to fix.
The BLM is an “Idea” that has taken off and the majority are embracing it. It’s causing division and tearing a nation. Now it’s affecting other Countries. I don’t know what the end result will be, but this is just one of many times that humans have embraced an Idea while at the same time are ignoring the consequences.

Did Jesus lie about his generation?
by Anony Mous inwe all know the scripture where jesus says 'this generation will by no means pass away before the end will come'.
the jw interpret this as the destruction of the jewish state in jerusalem by the romans and the dispersal of the jewish people.
however, while researching the history of judea, i come across various facts about the region.. so jesus died about 30ce and his disciples were likewise well in their thirties or older, the 'generation' by definition would've lasted until ~50ce (the time during which children are born and raised to have children of their own).

The Maricopa County Audit Team’s Findings
Trump 2,373,838- Remember, Trumps original vote count was 1,661,686. Trump’s “official” vote total represents a staggering reduction of 712,152.
Biden vote total= 1,286,264. The original Biden vote total was 1,672,143. The audit discovered that Biden’s votes decreased by 385,879.
President Trump won Arizona by 1,087,574 votes with 2,373,838 to Biden 1,286,264. President Trump captured nearly two-thirds of the vote.
After conducting a forensic audit, the audit team found that the vote flipped by approximately 1.1 million votes! This means that over one-third of the vote was stolen by Democratic Party operatives.
Anecdotally, this matches the number of people at various Arizona political rallies. Trump would typically draw capacity crowds for various venues ranging from 15,000 to 25,000. Conversely, Biden/Harris never drew 100 people in any rally. One Saturday, the only people to show up for a Biden rally, in downtown Phoenix, were the advance team members of the Biden campaign as reported on the scene by Fox News 10 in Phoenix.
