The elders have respected my decision not to return to the KH and will subsequently not give me any parts EVER
I got a call from the elder who assigns parts and apparently heās calling everyone to see who will come back to the KH and who wonāt. Those who wonāt will not be given any parts because of the March 19 letter that came out. If your BOEs stick with the letter, you can make any excuse not to come back and they should not pressure you in any way (of course I know this wonāt happen in most congs, but itās still their direction). Since the letter directs that all parts should be in person, you can now avoid having any kind of part in the foreseeable future - whether youāre a MS, Elder or R&F, you just found your free pass.
As a MS, I have a fair number of parts and I see this as a complete win for any PIMO - let the fades begin.

Was 536 the Worst year in history
by pistolpete injws believe that today, the time we live in is the worst time ever in history.
i know cause i just had a jw tell me yesterday this was the case.
he pointed to covid, the russian-ukraine war, the high gas prices and the food shortage happening.

JWs believe that TODAY, the time we live in is the worst time EVER in history. I know cause I just had a JW tell me yesterday this was the case. He pointed to Covid, the Russian-Ukraine war, the high gas prices and the food shortage happening.
It couldn't be clearer that we are living in the Last days according to him.
But according to some historians, 536 was the worse time to be born. Plus there was no internet so I wouldn't be typing had I lived back then.

The whole āSpiritualityā as currency mindset is terrible. Iāve seen HOT JW women with lesser men just because they were Elders
I guess humans are just prone to seeking some kind of status. In the Non-jw land it could be Rich-Tall-Handsome. In JW land it's being an elder and giving talks at conventions.
It's those who have figured it out that finding someone who loves you for YOU---- and not some imaginary Brad Pitt or Freddy Franz that have a change of a life long marriage.
That being said, neither SPIRITUALLY STRONG or RICH, TALL and HANDSOME guarantees a happy married life.
Perhaps being single, dating beautiful men and women, and going home to your own bed WITHOUT THE DRAMA, is the best option these days.

Iām in my mid 20ās but Iām noticing alot of sisters that are 35, 40 and just kind of lost. Single, still live at home or heavily dependent on parents because they have measly jobs. They substitute teach, drive school bus, etc. Waiting on a brother to come save them but for 95% of them itās just not going to happen.
I also feel like the worst group affected by this are the ones that are average to slightly above average attractiveness. The really attractive sisters get snatched by 22 and the lesser attractive ones donāt mind getting with the fat creepy brother who canāt dress. Yet those ones in the middle think too highly of themselves to get with the fat creepy dude (as they should good for them) but thereās not enough even halfway decent brothers to go around. Especially after 35.
One day we tried to name a single brother over 35 that was totally normal and didnāt have major issues in the entire circuit. We couldnāt come up with one.
Whatās worse is that when one does become available because of a divorce or death, they usually get taken off the market so quickly. One young elders wife died (it was extremely sad btw she was amazing person) while she was pregnant and I swear attendance started to double. Beautiful sisters by the 10ās showing up to see his public talks. He was married again within the year to Peruvian (she is gorgeous).
Anyway I feel bad for those single sisters getting older that really want companionship. If they donāt wake up, most will die alone as even less men stay in now than before.
If any on here have woken up, congrats and itās not too late to find love.
