I got robbed this morning!

The elders have respected my decision not to return to the KH and will subsequently not give me any parts EVER
I got a call from the elder who assigns parts and apparently he’s calling everyone to see who will come back to the KH and who won’t. Those who won’t will not be given any parts because of the March 19 letter that came out. If your BOEs stick with the letter, you can make any excuse not to come back and they should not pressure you in any way (of course I know this won’t happen in most congs, but it’s still their direction). Since the letter directs that all parts should be in person, you can now avoid having any kind of part in the foreseeable future - whether you’re a MS, Elder or R&F, you just found your free pass.
As a MS, I have a fair number of parts and I see this as a complete win for any PIMO - let the fades begin.

Was 536 the Worst year in history

i know cause i just had a jw tell me yesterday this was the case.
he pointed to covid, the russian-ukraine war, the high gas prices and the food shortage happening.

It couldn't be clearer that we are living in the Last days according to him.
But according to some historians, 536 was the worse time to be born. Plus there was no internet so I wouldn't be typing had I lived back then.

The whole “Spirituality” as currency mindset is terrible. I’ve seen HOT JW women with lesser men just because they were Elders
I guess humans are just prone to seeking some kind of status. In the Non-jw land it could be Rich-Tall-Handsome. In JW land it's being an elder and giving talks at conventions.
It's those who have figured it out that finding someone who loves you for YOU---- and not some imaginary Brad Pitt or Freddy Franz that have a change of a life long marriage.
That being said, neither SPIRITUALLY STRONG or RICH, TALL and HANDSOME guarantees a happy married life.
Perhaps being single, dating beautiful men and women, and going home to your own bed WITHOUT THE DRAMA, is the best option these days.
