i suppose in 30 to 40 years (or less), sally and her brother may be selling the property on the beach at the end of the paved road, so that whatever remains of their family will have a few more million dollars and will be able to pioneer.

by truthseeker1969 inas many of you know my brother an elder was called on to sit in a "judicial committee" re-instatement.. the brother has in the past done all he can to prove he is repentant but this time the co was here and apparently had a few things to say to the cobe when they were discussing the process.
the co asked why the poor guy had four re-instatement hearings and why the co had received a letter from him detailing that he "did not think he could do anymore".. anyway, long story short, the co sat in the hearing and hey presto the brother was re-instated.
my brother and the co spoke with the brother and the co said that he had done well and was sorry that the process has taken so long and shook his hand.. now he mentioned the latest letter about confidentiality and said that the society is being hit left right and center with civil lawsuits and are scared as the have no way of defending them.

o k, this kind of trip has been done many times before.
however i have never seen such a crude and rigid set of rules that would apply to their own people going on a trip, at their own expense of course.

My son was murdered today
by truman ini have been on this site daily, almost from its beginning, since i left the jws in 2001, but i have been more of a reader than a poster, as you can see from my post count.
i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.
maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

Everyone that has posted here must feel the same.... I just cant stop thinking about you and your terrible sadness and what you must be going through right now, to lose one of my boys would be an unthinkable nightmare. He sounds like such a nice guy. Please be assured that myself and family and everyone on this thread is thinking about you often, sending you lots of hugs and love. xx

Actually AK, the more you run into them the easier it becomes. Like wild animals I think to myself they are more scared of me than I am of them. I love the look on their faces.. "should i say hello to the inactive one"? lol In a rural town there is no getting away from the freaks. I see your point about being so close to many of them, that really hurts, especially when they shun you (even though youre only classed as inactive).
Be careful though with FB in case witnesses do see anything youve posted that is remotely 'gay' they will have a field day with the gossip and may even try and JC you. Like the poor guy who put his baby sons innocent family birthday celebration on FB. I think they DF him.
