  wow, it's hard to believe it's already been about a year since this subject was covered in the wt study at kindgom halls around the globe... let's read it just one more time, so we don't forget just how ridiculous this sounded when we first read it.... watchtower (study edition), april 15th, 2010 issue, pages 27-29:.

  "this magazine has long been used by the faithful and discreet slave as the primary channel for dispensing increased light.

  ... what does this explanation mean to us?

  Talked to 2 Elders Today

  i had a conversation on the phone today with two different elders today.

  i dont want to post the topic that we discussed on here at this time.

  they had a problem with something going on in my life and i said where is it written that this is a problem.

  One thing about marraige Im sure a veteran of 20 years would know is to 'let it go'. Let the small things slide, its good for the marraige and your sanity. Our 16 yr old son is reminding me with every messy kitchen he makes that i just have to calmly ask him to clean it (he does a crap job) then i just have to let it go, its not worth it for your mental state.

  The safety side is a concern though, I hope the Ginkgo works for his memory. i agree with Undercover.

  Congratulations to Ohio and partner,hope you enjoyed your anniversary last Thursday.

  looks like the earth is coming to support the woman and taking the flood of water that the dragon has disgorged out for the woman and her seed ( and i am sure by extension the other sheep) .

  'Dinah Gets Into Trouble' - Does Story 20 Mean Rape = Fornication?

  i was listening, albeit unwittingly, to a 'my book of bible stories' tape and this statement caught me by surprise.

  it's found in story 20:.

  "one day when dinah came to visit, shechem took dinah and forced her to lie down with him.

  Oh yeah, my Mum always used to say to us girls, 'youre asking to be raped going out in that skirt' etc. Dubs actually believe that crap.

  As a child I found my book of bible stories disturbing, anxiety causing, of course I didnt understand why.

  When I gave it to my own two kids neither of them liked it, one child cried when he saw the picture of Jesus on the stake and the other child would sit and stare at only the most gruesome, sad and graphic photos in awe ( I frequently found myself turning the page duriing meetings) - dying in the floodwater, Abraham about to cut his sons throat, Nephilim beating up the little fella and of course the bloodied dying Jesus. I dont let my 7 yr old play violent video games so why do these parents continue to raise their children on this crap.

  i no longer wish to recognised as one of the jehovah's witnesses due to the fact that i no longer believe that this 'organisation' is truly representing him because :.

  i have experienced greater and unconditional love/friendship with the people i am supposed to hate 'worldly people' than i did in this congregation.

  Introduction Bio

  hi everyone, i would like to introduce myself and tell my story.

  from the standpoint of being one of jehovahs witnesses, my whole family is deeply involved as i was the 5th generation of witness and any children that my brothers or sister have will be the sixth generation.

  as some of my brothers and sisters are grandparents, i guess that makes their grandchildren a potential 7th generation.

  if jehovah's witnesses, which number about 7 million right now, are a small subset of the religious world today, what does that make former jw's?

  as with any unique group, you have to be one to totally understand, esp if you were neck deep in it at one time.

  when i first left, all i wanted to do was say the things i never had a chance to when i was in.

  Yes we all are in different places now but we came from the same place and that is the common bond we share, thats what makes JWN such a comfortable place to go to.
