  i was just thinking about how often i prayed when i was going downhill.. now i subscribed wholeheartedly to the 'don't pray for bullshit requests' concept, so at first i rarely prayed.. starting around middle school, 9/10 i prayed for friends.

  didn't really pray to stop the teasing, my fists did some of that and besides...racism isn't/wasn't jehovah's fault anyway and i can't pray for that to end when he allowed the witnesses to suffer in ww2.. through high school, same issue and then when i started pioneering and hanging out with some of the other witnesses, those prayers prayers for friends intensified cuz they were asses.. but they were dominated by the prayers to love god starting around 15. i didn't want to read the magazines, despite how much i love reading.

  didn't want to stdy the lessons, didn't want to plan my presentations, though i did enjoy giving the talks and crafting them.

  How many JW pedofiles do you personally know?

  i was just thinking that out of the 200 jws that i actually know, at least 4 of them to my knowledge are pedophiles.

  i know for a fact, through personal confidences.

  that means, as far as my circle of jovo friends/acquaintances goes, 2% of them are kiddy fiddlers.. without mentioning names or details, how many do you know of for a certainty to be pedos, and what percentage does it work out at, considering all your circle of jovo friends?.

  One of four witnesses I know is an ex sister who had two young sons that she abused and posted them in disgusting acts on the internet. She had the kids taken away from her and spent time in jail.

  Another is my Sis in law unbaptised, who admitted to sexually abusing teenage boys 13 and 14, her and her husband lure vunerable boys to their home and drug them and have sex with them. When i had her arrested she told the police it was all a fantasy even though she had the date rape drugs on her at the time and a diary I found in her possession with the worst child porn some of the police had ever seen written.

  One Bro has just got out of prison, a 15 month sentence for 15 years of raping his 3 daughters. I worked with his wife who says it came as a complete surprise to her that he was regularly raping his own daughters in the next bedroom. He is now in good standing in a local cong.

  Then there are all the JW families who swear that their son or daughter would never be a pedophile even when convicted and jailed, JWs seem more likely to stand by pedophile family members than 'worldly' people.

  I know countless others who were anything from touched to regularly raped by JWs who NEVER came to justice for their crimes because of JW secrecy.

  just found out that the australian governong body member known as geoffrey jackson got engaged to a sister about two weeks ago.

  it really shocked me at first but then i remembered how other members of the gb have remarried in the past like daniel sidlik.

  what made me say "woah" was hearing that the holy bride to be is really young!

  hi all you fellow michiganders.. i wanted to make you aware that the meetup site entitled, "ex-jehovah's witnesses of michigan" will not be disolved.

  i decided since today was the last day before it would be no more, i should step up, and so i gladly did.. seeing that there has not been one meetup since it's inception, i plan to change that.

  i know there is at least one person from here who is registered with our meetup.
