Have you read Athiests book of bible stories or similar and still believed the bible is the word of God?

i often thought something was strange considering jehovah was supposed to be so loving.
but never thought to see the bible as anything other than my jw upbringing taught me.. i now think the bible is a bunch of fairytales and have a whole lot less respect for the creator... if there is one..

I have never seen so many kids in the JWs living such double lives so comfortably.
My little sis is 18yrs younger than me and watching her and her generation celebrating whatever they can get away with, getting drunk often, swearing quite openly and listening to music and watching movies and many other things I could never have lived with myself doing.
I see them at school, on the internet and even at the meeting getting away with so much (mainly cause the elders havent found out)
I used to think how balanced they were- as I and my gen was scared to do anything to invoke gods/elders/parents wrath. Now however I think they are only hanging in there for their family and friends and dont believe half of what they are being taught.
My sis is newly married now and starting to notice how much all the JW crap is taking her away from the fun things. Life is becoming more complicated for these 18-25yr olds with work, relationships/marraiges and leisuretime all competing with the amount of time they need to spend on 'theocraptic' stuff.
I hope it is only a matter of time till JWs lose all these lovely young people to their lies and time wasting activities.
I cant wait to see it and be there for the young people when they leave.

Known Pedophile takes young boy to bathroom at circuit assembly....WTF?
by QuestioningEverything inmy mil's circuit assembly was this past weekend.
she came over for dinner to our home after the assembly.
in conversation, it came up that a known pedophile was seen walking to the bathroom holding a young boy's hand-no relation to the boy at all, although that wouldn't make a difference!

Yes the MIL did the typical Witness thing and didnt cause waves. Let Jeh and the elders take care of it, yeah like they always have.... not! At least write to the BOE anon and pretend to have seen this first-hand and state your concern. The worst case scenario is that MIL got it wrong. Yes if you can I would def let the study know, even if by letter.

Is the average Jehovah`s Witness judgemental ?You tow the line you get blessed ,if you dont get blessed you must be doing something wrong.

and it`s because the wt often promotes that jehovah/jesus protects and looks after his loyal followers ,that when something adverse occurs , the suspicion/judgement is "oh they must have been doing something wrong that nobody knew about, but you cant hide it from jehovah."mentality.

Out preaching, car load of Witnesses killed by a car running a red light....where was god then?
They make up stories to prove their theories right.
When will they realise that a loving God is not going to help sell Bro Righteous house in record time and let some poor heathen child die in the gutter.
To think that they believe this crap... they must really think they are special and above everyone else for God to give them their stupid insignificant blessings.

WT is a cash cow for who? do the GB know they are frauds?
by thecrushed inas i've understood it the gb has taken a vow of poverty.
on jwn they are constantly accused of guilt tripping their subjects to keep distributing there literature to make converts in order to keep growing the number of donations which is a valid point.
i ask this question in all honesty and naivety to see where the truth of the matter lies.

Well if they believed their own crap they would know that soon theyll be throwing their money in the street because it is valueless. Then in the paradise they wont need all the accumulated wealth anyway. So maybe they see this system going on longer than regular JWs think....... idiots!
