mom gave a lot of money to the watchtower bible and tract society over her lifetime- (6 figures).
after she ran low on funds she made a 5 figure "conditional loan" to wtb&ts.

Got My First Shunning Last Night - And I am NOT Even a JW!!!

last night i go to the grocery store and see this guy, always been a nice guy, always says "hello, how have you been, we mised you at the hall" crap.
and i say "never been better, nice to see you" you know the ususal pleasantries.... not last night.. we go into the store almost simultaneously (from different directions) and as soon as he sees me he dashes towards the shopping carts.

IMHO the dubs enjoy being able to spread the hate. Theyre enjoying the negativity and gossip that surrounds anyone who is no longer affiliated with them. The last thing they want is to find out that you are happier now that youre out than ever before. So thats exactly what I portray at all times, a radiantly happy disposition. Im not lying anyway, just exaggerating. It is the most awesome,liberating feeling to be out. yay!! I have found a lot of dubs to be confused at my new relaxed, happy nature. While most of them seem seriously sad and mentally removed from real life.

reading through the posts here i realise that these people shun those those who have left the organisation, that is very sad.
i was never even given the chance to become a member.

Welcome Sparlock. You are amongst friends here. I would like to offer you some words of advice.
You firstly need to march yourself straight down to toys r us and find yourself either counsellor 'barbie' or psychiatrist 'barbie' you need to talk to someone. When you are feeling better make sure you get yourself another magic wand, you will find this in the harry potter aisle. Next step would be to make some good worldly friends, Im thinking papa smurf - you will find him in aisle 6 - soft toys. Papa smurf will advise you no doubt to head straight to the KH to have a chat with the elders, the smurfs find the best time to catch them is when the meeting is in full swing. I strongly advise you and Caleb to have a chat to Steve and Selma, often a victim of violence can lash out at others, I think you were Selmas whipping boy that day she made Caleb bin you. I think Woody and Buzz may be able to help you with Selmas bullying, remember the bully that lived next door to them? Yeah he got his just desserts.

Are you happy to go to the media Balaam or are you trying not to get JCd? How does your Mum feel about all this? Does she feel betrayed, disappointed and sad or is she 'waiiting on Jeh'?
I feel sick and really sad about this, it brings tears to my eyes to see the org I once trusted with my whole heart treating generous kind people like this in their hour of need.

Greedy friggin bastards.
The money donated originally was for KHs to be built so the society eventually agrees to lend the money to the cong as long as they pay back the money that was already meant for the building of KHs then when the funds come back to them to cover the 'loan' they get the KH signed over to them anyway and the lucky suckers get to rent their own hall built with their own labor and hard earned cash. Im glad I was a tight arse when it came to donating, I always had the feeling that the society was greedy and had more than they let on. Now we can see just one of their many schemes.
Surely people should be able to see through this?? Im so glad that Ive found out about these things now Ive left or I would have been announced an apostate years ago.
