  after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.

  thank you for all the kindness and many interesting discussions over the years.

  About my Coming Out...

  since my coming out publicly, i have received a lot of kind words.. i wanted to thank all of you from the depth of my heart.. .

  on the other hand, i need to make two things clear:.

  i'm often encouraged to use my position to create cartoons or stories for nickelodeon, etc.... i do not have that kind of fire-power.

  Wow, sorry you had to deal with that crap Vincent How rude and arrogant.

  Obviously that was an unstable person. Probably an ex-elder/dictator.

  The rest of us are hugely grateful for your big reveal and wish you well on this part of your exciting journey.

  BTW it is totally ones own business which organisation/religion they follow and no one should be judging another persons choices or decisions, especially considering the environment we have just left.

  Onwards and upwards champ!! Look forward to more posts from you.

  i'm a writer/artist published a little all over the place.

  i started my career in france, about 35 years ago.

  Hi Vincent, Im so glad you could 'come out' to us all.

  I too am in total awe of cartoonists, I cant draw for peanuts. Oh and Sponge Bob, he is my absolute favourite character EVER!!

  I hope one day I can come out as an EX JW proud apostate, you are doing us faders proud!!

  As a public figure hopefully you can put it out there what a damaging cult the JWs are.

  Wife update

  so i am at 1200 posts or so (only about 6 were probably of note), and i still havenlt told my story and probably won't for some time.

  basically, i was a born in who has served in other countries, as an ms, and given talks etc... my wife and i were in foreign language, have co's we have counted as close family friends, and were basically the golden boy and girl of their respective areas.

  a normal person, upon hearing that a new (or revised) bible translation has been released, would have 2 questions spring to mind almost immediately:.

  1) who did the work, and what are their credentials?.

  2) what manuscripts is the work based on?.

  What's with all the JWs unleashing the hate!?

  most of us here on jwn, while we can get a bit narky at times, can put forth intelligent arguments and sound observations.

  sure we can get bogged down with our opinions, but generally we back up our opinions with examples and evidence, and if someone has a different opinion with examples and evidence, we accept that without recriminations.

  that's what adults do.. so my question is, why in the last week or so, have a couple of posters claiming to be jws come onto this forum and berated, spewed hate and judgement, and in some cases verbally attacked members personally?

  All dubs now seem to be more negative, more angry and generally more hateful people than Ive ever known them to be in my 40 years. I am shunned by 95% of them and Ive only been fading for a year. They are scared, confused and have more doubts deep down than ever before too. Armaggeddon never came to save them from having to go to school, get married, have kids, become grandparents, retire and now even die. i want to scream it from the rooftops.... ITS A LIE, A SCAM AND A FRIGGIN CULT!!!
