1 Corinthians 15 is pretty clear that the destiny of man is to have an incorruptible heavenly / angelic body

Matthew 8:11 is FIGURATIVE, Matthew 8:12 is LITERAL
by Longlivetherenegades init is therefore evident that in matthew 8:11 jesus referred to abraham, isaac and jacob figuratively.............. .
for this reason it became necessary that many gentiles (non-jews), like the roman centurion whose faith brought a miraculous cure by jesus, should come “from eastern parts and western parts,” from all around the earth, to become dedicated, baptized christians............... the natural or fleshly jews of the nation of israel claimed to be the “sons of the kingdom” or the prospective members of god’s kingdom.
from the day of pentecost forward they saw the beginning and the gradual development of this theocratic arrangement, but because of their lack of faith in christ they were not in it.

LoveUni, All Europe experience that. Powerful leftwing forces want to destroy the evil western culture and therefore they import mena people. They now might begin to grasp that destructive mena people got an agenda of their own. National minded heroes like Jean Marie Le Pen warned about this for decades and they villified him for it. Suffering is an excellent teaching tool

America has voted for more accursed internationalism, more poverty and more war. As I say in person to anyone who likes this outcome: congratulations. Here in Europe the majority has the frontal lobotomy saying orange man is bad, so they are happy. You will soon be lead by women in their thirties-forties like in Europe. Congrats

Vanderhoven7, well if you guys offer decent equipment and pay and need a helping hand in the fight for western civilisation, I am sure a number of us in Europe could stand ready to join a European militia

Non whites are racists because they notice differences and common traits in races. They have not been taught it is a bad thing. Famous example is the newer chinese advert for laundry soap, where a naughty black guy is lured by a chinese beauty only to be thrown into a washing machine. Up comes a white skinned china man, he has been washed clean 😁😁. I hope the days of unchallenged Western self hatred are coming to an end. Just as the individual needs to be self confident, the Western nations need national pride and selfreservation to protect themselves against less accomplished cultures

The 1950s NWT (1984)
by HowTheBibleWasCreated ini did a video on this subject once but feel this is a noteworthy topic.
to be honest the old nwt has come under sonsiderable attack from fundie morons attacking it's nt which was translated with a few revisals in 1950.the truth is john 1:1 and 8:58 and other texts, though despite being odd, are within the translation rules as are the inclusion of the word {other} since this was stated in the forward as an interpolation.
jehovah in the nt is odd but certianly lacking as other translations have added more yhwh.. so the ot?

I would agree John has an unique take on who Jesus is. But it seems pretty clear that he claimed the God of the old testament as his Father. In John 5:46 he says Moses wrote of him. Who is Jesus in the gospel of John. I would say the incarnation of the Word and Mind of the Father is one way to put it, God speaking on feet in flesh. Also a sort of baby God, all having the heavily symbolisms of John in mind. Godman out of heaven, "divine flesh". It fits fine with my general Oneness/Modalist understanding of Jesus

It seems William Barclay admitted in a letter to a David Burnett dated May 2, 1974 quoted on the "For an answer" page (now closed down?) that "a god" in John 1:1 is grammatically possible. It is a sort of taqiya when scholars say something is impossible based on their theology and tradition. It is possible, he did just not agree with it. It neither fitted Trinitarianism nor his own theology where Jesus is the reason and cause of all things, the Word and Mind of God made man and therefore "a god" or an angel did not fit the bill

Actually JWs are henotheists. The idea that our English "God" is a name and exclusive to the one true guy / power with capital P is an Evangelical invention and oversimplification ☺️.
