Well Sue, it's nice to see you back. It's kind of sad that the only people you feel comfortable talking about your problems with are those that your new/renewed friends would probably see as "enemies of Jehovah God". I hope you find the healing you need.

Jehovah changes directions in ''field service hours'' resonsibilty and assignments
by RULES & REGULATIONS inhttps://jws-library.one/?file=data/1943/w_e_19430701/w_e_19430701.html#bookmark2.
https://jws-library.one/?list=publications&pubid=w_e_19430701&year=1943.
these expressions of god’s will by his king and through his established agency constitute his law or rule of action for the “faithful and wise servant” and for their goodwill companions today who will dwell upon the earth for ever in the new world.

So much for them denying that they ever said "Thus sayeth The LORD". (they didn't have their own specially worded edition back then)
"He says the requirements for special pioneers shall be 175 hours and 50 back-calls per month, which should develop into a reasonable number of studies; and for regular pioneers 150 hours and as many back-calls and studies as can be properly developed during that time. And for company publishers he says, ‘Let us make a quota of 60 hours and 12 back-calls and at least one study a week for each publisher.’" This seems like they're treating it as a direct quote by Jehovah, although they've muddied it a bit by mentioning His King.

I'm a bit agnostic on whether or not WT shares certain similarities with Freemasonry, but I'll keep an open mind. There is that quote by a masonry guy about Russell, but would you believe anything a secret society says about its membership? 🤔🎩🧐
As for Bethel being WT headquarters, I wouldn't be surprised to find Jahbulon somewhere in the literature 🙄. (Just being sarcastic) 😹

Is The GB Paranoid? And Should They Be?
by NotFormer inthe gb seems to have a bunker mentality, that they are special, and that the world is out to get them, so they tend to keep within their tightly controlled, protective environment.
bottlegate proved that there is some danger outside of the rarified atmosphere of their echo chamber; you never know when a camera might be trained on you, or that someone might recognise you as being something more than plain old "joe citizen".
further, tm3's new address was quickly found and distributed, and (as i understand it) someone drove to his gated community to tell the security guard that tm3's "ass is grass".

Vidiot: "Simply the fact that they can keep on doing it without having a nervous fucking breakdown"
I wonder how medicated they are?
Bottlegate suggests that Tony may have been self-medicating (that is if all those bottles were for him. Diogenesister made the point that he could have been stocking up for a large party, eg. a major anniversary, which is not outside the realms of possibility).
The GB's medical records would be interesting; does Vidiot's hypothesised "they know it's wrong but believe it's true" situation translate into mental health issues that medication can make "go away" to some extent? We'll never see those, and they still are human beings with a certain right to privacy.
Still, it's interesting to speculate about some future time when the WT bunker is torn down (end of Nazi Germany, Soviet Union and Berlin Wall style) and the files released to historians. I imagine that the mental health of the GB and their administrative circle would make for some interesting theses.

My grandmother called my mother
by Anony Mous inso, i’m just posting this as a warning to lurking jws.
if you’re still on the fence, here is a story.. my grandmother, now in her 80s hasn’t talked to anyone in the family for over 20 years ever since my mother was the last one of her children that left ‘the truth’, she had sent my mother a card to never talk to her again.
so here we are 21 years later, she gets a call out of the blue that she needed help, she hadn’t been able to get into her kitchen.
