  like the watchtower did in yester years with catholic csa cases.. oslo district court in norway is home to an ongoing trial after norway deregistered the jehovah’s witnesses last year.

  Ah, yes, hide the truth behind a catch cry like "theocratic warfare". 🙄

  The Watchtower does a lot of Orwellian doublespeak, doesn't it? "Cruelty is kindness", for their disfellowshipping policy. "Lying for The Truth", and so on.

  The level of dishonesty here is breathtaking. Remind me again Mr. Lopes: who is the Father of Lies?

  "In an email to RNS, Jehovah’s Witnesses spokesperson Jarrod Lopes said Witnesses only disfellowship an unrepentant member who “makes a practice” of serious violations of “the Bible’s moral code."

  We're talking about children, not unrepentant monsters!

  Has The Interpretation of the Beast Changed?

  my understanding* is that the un is supposed to be the wild beast of revelation.

  the un only came into being after wwii, so what was the beast before the new light came about?

  i can't see a speculative organisation like the wt not having an interpretation of the beast before the un came into being.

  I actually wrote WWI for the league of nations, but it seems my idiot tablet autocorrected it! 😠

  ExBethelitenowPIMA, if the league of nations was formed in 1919, then that would be an interesting counterpoint to their love of that date. But I just looked it up, League of Nations was formed in 1920, presumably after Satan knew his time was short with the appointment of the FDS! 🙄🤮

  My understanding* is that the UN is supposed to be the wild beast of Revelation. The UN only came into being after WWII, so what was the beast before the new light came about? I can't see a speculative organisation like the WT not having an interpretation of the beast before the UN came into being. Even if it was the League of Nations, that came into being after WWII. What was Russell's take on the beast?

  jw claim they are the true religion and they mention the love they have among themselves as proof.

  i have been watching a youtube creator who had some thoughts on the subject, bringing out jw were not really christian, based upon their actions.

  he made a pretty good case.

  Yes I'm sure they say that, just the same way that they justify their stinginess over birthdays and Christmas by saying that they don't need special days to give people stuff, and then they don't give anybody anything 😔.

  The fact is that in JW eyes most charities are aligned with Babylon the Grape, or the Beast, so wouldn't give to them so they don't share in their guilt. Could you honestly see a Dub giving to the Salvation Army's winter appeal? 🙄

  So much for them denying that they ever said "Thus sayeth The LORD". (they didn't have their own specially worded edition back then)

  "He says the requirements for special pioneers shall be 175 hours and 50 back-calls per month, which should develop into a reasonable number of studies; and for regular pioneers 150 hours and as many back-calls and studies as can be properly developed during that time. And for company publishers he says, ‘Let us make a quota of 60 hours and 12 back-calls and at least one study a week for each publisher.’" This seems like they're treating it as a direct quote by Jehovah, although they've muddied it a bit by mentioning His King.

  I'm a bit agnostic on whether or not WT shares certain similarities with Freemasonry, but I'll keep an open mind. There is that quote by a masonry guy about Russell, but would you believe anything a secret society says about its membership? 🤔🎩🧐

  As for Bethel being WT headquarters, I wouldn't be surprised to find Jahbulon somewhere in the literature 🙄. (Just being sarcastic) 😹
