  Triathlon results with pictures.

  a few weeks ago i posted about having some difficulty with my swim training for an upcoming triathlon.

  well, i finally was able to overcome it and the swim clicked with me last week.

  i was able to swim across the lake and back without panicking twice last week.

  Is The Governing Body Of JW's Deliberately Deceiving People?

  i find it very hard for me to believe that the governing body is unaware that many of the wtbts teachings and doctrines are not only deceiving people but are also spiritually, mentally and physically harming them as well.

  Like what WLG said, when people have a religious agenda, thy can pretty much justify anything. I think the biggest tell tale sign is the fact that humility isnt reserved for the upper echelons but all the other dubs have to deny their humanity (i.e. "I am just a good-for-nothing slave"). If Joe JW or Sister Good-Intentions went around calling themselves "Princes" and "Sharers in the destruction of Satan's System" or "Gifts in Men" or "God's Wife" or "Mother" the elder body would put one in their ear and knock 'em on their prospective arses. Who does the governing body speak to? God? don't make me laugh.....

  I like lots of movies...besides porn I dig:

  - Fred Astaire/ Ginger Roger Musicals (I don't know what Talesin doesn't like, their dancing is hypnotic)

  - Italian Horror (Dario Argento, Lucio Fullci)

  - Spaghetti Westerns (The Sergio Leone / Ennio Morricone collaborations)

  - David Lynch's American Surrealistic Films

  - Japanese Anime (Spirited Away, Akira)

  - B-movie noir (Charley Varrick, The Big Combo, The Big Heat, anything with Jimy Cagney or Barbara Stanwyck)

  - Grandiose Epics (Gone With the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, The Godfather)

  - Russian Historic Epics (Alexander Nevsky, Andrei Rublev, Potemkin)

  - Everything else foreign (Fassbinder, Bergman, Fellini, Herzog, Mizoguchi, Bresson).

  ... and I love Musicals (West Side Story, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, My Fair Lady)

  ..oh yeah, and if it was directed by Tarkovsky or Kubrick its probably in my top 100.

  As for movies I don't like...Usually anything that has Hillary Duff in it.
