HORAAYY!!
Absolutely glad that everything worked out for you (and so it should have - you weren't guilty in the first place!)
You are a great Mommy!!

there is more of heaven and earth than is dreamt of in your philosphy, horatio.. dickens: a tale of two cities.
"there are more things in heaven and earth, horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" are the words of hamlet from hamlet, act ii, scene v, by william shakespeare - a tale of two cities does not come into it, though i can imagine sidney carton uttering them in some parallel universe.. hope this helps.. --.
Focus - for someone that attacks other posters and speaks his mind, you sure are shy about your (hidden) identity!
And Yerusalyim before focus points it out to you, "Etal" should be written as "et al". Just getting in before focus does
that got you to read this!
what country are you from?.
i find it encouraging to see where different posters are from in the world, especially for me, if you are from the uk or europe.
Mr Maggo (cute name, btw)
Some don't like putting their real country down to avoid being hunted down by the police.. oops I mean elders..
I am actually from Australia despite what my profile may say
to wendy & prisca,.
you badly misjudged both my intentions and what i wrote.
isnt that exactly what ive been saying all along and the reason that i posted in the first place?
oohh.. so I got a post directed to me. Ain't I a lucky girl then?
LW, I'm not interested in he said/she said. Life's too short (and far too much interesting) to be caught up in interpretations of threads etc. What you posted was pretty confrontational. I didn't like what I read and so I said so.
Ok? Now let's back to enjoying life.
and BTW, I didn't start the "witnessing in the nude" thread. But I did think it was funny.
sad person that i am, i posted this yesterday, but the post seems to have self destructed....... anyway, if anyone posted to the other thread wants to re-post to this one it would be much appreciated.
alright, this is one of those what was your favourite questions:.
when you were a witness (or even if youre still reluctantly attached like me), did you have a favourite kingdom melody (why couldnt they just be called hymns by the way)?.
A contrast to 'be-bomp-be-bomp-be-bomp-be-bomp-be-be-ba-ba-be-ba'(name that song)
Sounds like the Australian national anthem, but I could be wrong
("Australians all let us rejoice, For we are strong and free")
Even as a witless, I always like "Amazing Grace". I couldn't see any objection to it, the words that I remembered fitted in with JW philosophy. Now that I'm out, I can relate even more to it. It's still a pretty song.
how about dropping a line on the main board or e-mailing me.
we are organising another bbq and would like to invite you along.. oldertom.
pretty soon we'll have to organise warwick farm race cource for our assemblies.
I had nice memories of Warwick Farm. It sort of became "our" meeting place for the District assemblies, oops, I mean Conventions.
I left the JWs when they stopped having the conventions there. It was obvious that they weren't the right religion because of the change in direction, in having the conventions at the Super Dome. Just didn't seem right. Realised there wasn't any scriptures backing up the move from Warwick Farm to the Super Dome. Did my research, and read Crisis of Conventions. Gave me all the details I needed to realise that this couldn't possibly be God's Organisation if they made such drastic changes like this. I mean, moving from the Sydney Cricket Ground to Warwick Farm was obviously New Light, but to move the conventions to the Super Dome was pure apostasy. I severed my connections from the "truth" from that moment on.
today, april 20th, is the fourth anniversary of a very special day in my life.. the anniversary of my rebirth.. this rebirth was not a religious experience, but it was something totally pure, amazing and healing.. it had nothing at all to do with the society, or rather, of freeing myself from it.
it was however, a giant first step in that direction.. today is the fourth anniversary of the day i got letter that changed everything.
the words on the pages were alive, and magical: they released me from my old life and for the first time.
Es,
Your post about meeting each other truly moved me. I wish you & Justin a lifetime of happiness together
Congratulations on your "anniversary"
there are 1370 registered users on this sight, lets say that 1000 of them are pretty serious players when it comes to trying to help jw's with doubt get away from the organization.. this is my ideal, lets say that 1000 users here form a group to help (plant the right seeds of doubt).
the way this could be done is by each person in the group paying a $25.00 fee (which would equal to $25,000.00) to place advertising on billboards located near assembly halls with 1-900 numbers for more information concerning the posted message.. then the money from the 900 numbers could be used to place more billboards near more assembly halls till there was enough out there to really cause a impact on the organization.. what do you think?
i know it is crazy, however it is a fun ideal>
Big Jim,
It's a good idea but there's one small problem - we don't all live in the same country!! Be nice if we did, though....

Why couldn't you just email this to Yerusalyim, Focus? and why the need to be so hostile in your posts? Calm down mate, you need to resolve your anger issues.
i've gotten the impression that gambling is not looked upon kindly by the 'tower.
is it officially condemned, i.e.
is it a disfellowshippable offence?.
Hope you don't get rained out, Stephanus. Make sure you get under some cover!
btw, wasn't it weird having those District Conventions at Warwick Farm for all those years?
(for non-Aussies, Warwick Farm is a major race-course in Sydney)
