I know a few brothers with beards. However they never "progress" to become MS or elders, despite all their efforts in "the truth".

When I was 23 I went on a movie date with a girl. She went to the toilet, and never returned. That was the best part. The worst part was the movie sucked.

@Fernando
Your approach will never work. As soon as a JW hears someone wants to discuss 'good news' and 'kingdom', they'll immediately go to the WTBS-CDROM and print out every article on 'good news of the kingdom'. Then they'll focus on those articles as if they were inspired. Their brain is hard wired to support WT doctrine.
Even if you point-blank point out what you're trying to say, from the bible, they'll deny it in favor of some Watchtower understanding from two decades ago.

Watchtower re "The New World Order"
by Nambo innow the watchtower is so named for they keep on the watch right?.
for those of you still in, or that still see the mags, have they ever once even mentioned the "new world order", or one world government or even globalisation?.
ive been on a forum or two where the average joe, who doesnt even belive in, or are not even aware of god, the bible and revelation, are fully aware of the push towards globalisation and a single world government, where you wont be able to buy or sell unless you accept thier chip, of the f.e.m.a.

I would say 99% of JW's know nothing of the New World Order. They believe the "Mark" in Revelation is symbolic, not literal, yet they can't/wont discuss what the buying and selling means.
They do believe a one world government will be attempted by mankind through the UN.

What percent of JWs pubs. are childless?
by Gayle inwhat percent are single, childless couples and/or couples that have grown children?
i know that can depend on what cultures/countries they are, but what do think across the globe.. what percent are children, six to 18 yrs.
olds?.

What got me, is the childless couples I knew were waiting till "after Armageddon" to have kids. However Jesus clearly states:
Mark 12:25 - "For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."
I also have family members who never remarried after their spouse died, because they think they can be married again in the "New System".
What is the official JW explanation of Mark 12:25?
I remember asking a few elders, and I always got different answers. One answer was it was only for those alive at that time, another was that only applies to the anointed. Both these do not seem to be supported by any scripture.

I knew many couples who purposely remained childless. In my opinion there's definitely a higher ratio of childless couples in the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Spot the obvious mistake with this JW pamphlet.
by biometrics in.
.
that's right it should be "1970s"(without the apostrophe) not "1970's"..

But isn't this a badge card, and not a pamphlet?
You're right it is.
Surely a more obvious mistake is that nobody conquered the world in the 1970s?!
But Jehovah's Witnesses couldn't spot that mistake, only the apostrophe!
