Governing Body Hates Higher Education Because It Destroys Their Delusion
by frankiespeakin inin an effort to keep their delusion alive it is only natural for them hate something that lifts the vails of their delusion and lay it barren.
their hate is transfered to the faithful rank and file and manifested in their forbidding it to the young who will surely see the ignorance of their delusion.
narcissistic delusions of divine appointment are resisted at the expense of the young.. they hate higher education to the same extent they hate psychiatry because both tread on their delusion and identify it in clear terms..

by Stubborn Disbeliever ini'm new here, so i thought i'd start with an introduction and summary of my life, for the most part.
i have a tendancy to ramble ridiculously, so bear with me :) and this will be all over the place as thoughts take over the keyboard.. i was born a 5th generation jw.
i never really "felt" it, but was book smart about it.

Sex before marriage would eliminate a lot of unhappy marriages in the Borg...
by sinis insensible, safe sex, in my opinion, should be engaged in.
because, as you get older and are ready to settle down, you will look at your potential sole mate, not for sexual reasons, but for what they have to offer mentally and if they are compatible.
when religion restricts this, and yuo must marry to have sex, i believe that you doom a marriage at the outset, because these young folks marry out of lust, only to have the rose colored blinders pulled off later, and regret the entire arrangement... .

Exactly- Simply assuming that having sex before marriage would make marriages more stable, happy and enduring ignores the root problem.
The twisted and distorted moral education provided poisons any natural and normal expressions that can a couple are going to experience together.
Yet another example where the borg leadership (repressed, uneducated amateurs) completely screw up people's lives, and accept zero responsibility for their actions.

Quandry- It is sad to say that I have had more contact with her family than she has. Her father is in his eighties now and sends a smoke signal out to her occasionaly. Last conversation that I had with her I told her how kind her mother had been to me; her mom passed about 6 years ago. She said that she really wished that she could have known her mom better. It is terrible that she was divided from her family all because of the man-made rules that came about during the Ray Franz debacle.

Quandry- sorry that I didn't acknowledge your opening post, when I read it I immediately thought of the similarities the two events. It often takes a lot of little things that cause a person to finally question the the cult control. Maybe that was the case with your daughter's close friend.
Reconnecting with my friend was one of the best things to happen to me in quite a while, so I know how good it must make your daughter feel.
