the following is a past post from the old h20 before the skeptics migrated over to jwd for whatever reasons they had at the time.

i was pretty much worn out at the time as i was just beginning my mission to proclaim the creator and his existence.

the time miraculous has come to resume that fight with new vigor for i no longer have to start from scratch.

The four Elihu speeches are not considered part of the original work.

He is not introduced in the opening narrative. His speeches are not anticipated in the preceding chapters, nor does it have any effect in what follows. He is not taken into account at all in the closing narrative. The insertion of his speeches interrupt what is clearly intended as the direct movement from the speeches of Job to those of God. In several instances when God speaks it is presupposed that Job has just spoke not Elihu. There is substantial linguistic differences between his speeches and the context. The poem makes much more sense when these speeches are removed.

Questions For The Skeptics (Unbelievers)

i have announced i am on a crusade to encourage skeptics to think on the issue in a way they probably have never done before.

i initially have made the mistake of cramming everything into one, two or three posts.

this i should have immediately recognized is an impossibilty because what i have in mind requires a great amount of meditation to fu;;y comprehend.

You refuse to accept that all belief is a matter of choice.

I have to admit that sometimes I have a problem with the uncertainity of the origin of life. This seems to be the one question that does not have a satisfactory answer without a creator. But, on the other hand the theory of Creation has its own problems. I (must) choose to believe the Theory that has the least amount of problems. An invisible being that refuse to communicate with Mankind in an effective manner is far more troublesome than the Theory of evolution. All powerful Gods should have the power to convince me that they exist. Their refusal to do so does not help their position.

I am not by any evidence forced to believe a certain way.

I am forced to believe a certain way by evidence and also by the lack of evidence. Evidence does not necessarily mean that something is absolutely a fact without some doubt. To believe in opposition to the evidence, is to live in denial.

This being true the wise thing is only to believe only that which it benefits me to.

How do you determine what is of benefit to you? Is your decision as to what is of benefit based upon evidence? Or do you just flip a coin on that decision also? When the coin lands heads up, do you decide that the evidence indicates heads up, or do you just believe what you want?

Oh, yeah, If God truly does not exist, how do you benefit by believing in him? Will your thoughts and actions that are based on your belief in God be pointless and therefore of no benefit (waste of time)?

Does the evidence indicate that God exists or does not exist?

If you answer, "exists", then you believe in agreement with the evidence, therefore how can we know that you choose to ignore the evidence?

If you answer, "does not exist" then you know that God does not exist, but just say you believe he does. Knowledge and belief cannot be separated. If you know he does not exist, this discussion is pointless.

If you answer, "don't know" then we still cannot believe that you choose to ignore the evidence.

Do not you believe in the power of prayer? No, not in the sense that some invisible being is going to listen and do something. Maybe, a believer will obtain some positive result but the same result could be obtained with positive thinking. I don't pray, seems pointless.

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? If so why? Yes, Cultural requirement.

Do you believe a law of reciprocity (reaping what you sow) exists? If so who or what enforces these laws? No, but most decent people will try to help others who they feel are deserving. The opposite is also true. Most people will avoid a**holes. This is not really a law of reciprocity, but human nature.

Do you agree with the following concept?

Do you recognize what is being spoken of at 2 Corinthians as the physical (carnal) man vs. the spiritual man. The physical man ignores his spiritual heritage as a son of God in his likeness whereas the spiritual anccepts it and Godas his father.

Are any emotions positive or negative unique to the individual or are the shared universlly?It is a shocking fact that as Gods Little Computer People we are all connected together with all spirit creatures and God. It is on kind of a invisible LAN network that we all can access with the right clearances and passwords.

The human experience is shared universally. All PCs running the same operating system don't have to be connected on a LAN to be able to responed in the same manner to the same data.

It is amazing how on Talk shows the whole world can tap into hurt, joy, or love being expressed. All emotions good and bad are out there invisible like radio waves. We receive the emotions we are tuned into in many ways. Can you see this is true? These emotions are all spirits having personality. I am certain this is why ancient civilization developed there were individual Gods for every emotion. In a sense there exists just that.

You don't need invisible spirits to explain human nature.

for new-boys that basically translated into moving from one 5 x 5 room to the next (unless you started pioneering at the age of 9).

for senior bethelite members, you're basically lickin' your chops because all those years of seniority can be used to obtain a room with a ...............bathroom.

Is there a mattress manufactured that would go into that size of a shoebox? It would have to measure 15 inches or less in length. Did you know that a conventional twin-size mattress measures 75 inches in length? That's 60 inches over the size you claim the box is!

why exjws have VEHEMENT disagreements at times

just a few thoughts..... i noticed that a lady named crystal posted her views.....and many people got upset....i did as well....part of me knows that taking responsibilty for my own life is important... and i have tried but also battle all my life....in fact i called to complain about the mail being late just today...and the supervisor's name is battle...to which i ( with my anaylytical bipolar mind ) reacted.......... i thought ," gee i battled allll my life but is could be taken as battle for youe life"... anyway....my original point was about why ex jws vehemently disagree... i remember when i saw and expereinced abuses in the org..and when i asked "sisters" and " brothers' for validation ( am i right or wrong?????

) some would agree then get frighetend and avoid me remember how we were warned against murmuring and how often so as not to appear unloving many people would use inuendoes or roll their eyes or play any number of mind games......( very loving that).

expressing honestly and openly was , for the most part, not safe so i think that many exjws having been repressed as to free expression are more prone to let it all out... and disagree vehemently......... just a few thoughts.
