@Heaven - I know, it's so sad. My father threw away his past and he acts like it didn't happen. He had pictures, medals and a lot of nice military decoration and my mother made him get rid of that. It's like they've took my father and replaced him. I'm tempted to post my own thread about this, so depressing.

now i am not i do see certain things in there studie that is true in my opinion but ive never really been a religion type of person.
i think i want to marry her but i am not a jehovas witness and am not looking to be anytime at all she says that is ok and we can still get married but i dont know how its possible or where we would even do it please i need advice

So Microsoft made a laptop - Surface Pro 4 / Surface Book
by Simon inmicrosoft definitely seem to be undergoing a revival and are coming out with some cool tech.
it's good to see them turning things around and keeping apple honest.. the holo-lens looks fantastic - much better than full vr headsets by providing augmented reality instead (imagine 3d minecraft projected on a table or aliens running round your living room to shoot at).. more practical though is the update to the surface tablet and the surprise release, the surface book laptop / tablet.
yeah, it's confusing - one is a tablet that becomes a laptop and the other is a laptop that becomes a tablet.. i promised our eldest a laptop for his high-school graduation and to use now he's starting university and took him to the apple store a few months ago but the macbooks i was leaning towards weren't available at the time.

so, i am going to indulge myself and get a new dirt bike.. i love to see god's creation from the vantage point of a motorcycle on a mountain top.

I know it's hard but if she's fully into the cult it will not work. My mother did this with my father, he was in the Army back then and they got married and she slowly converted him. Before he was a JW they struggled a lot, my father would come from work and no dinner, mum was out preaching. Basically it was cult first and him being always second. Of course, everything changed once he was fully indoctrinated, now I don't even know who he is anymore.

by Truthexplorer injusmy wife and i were out in the ministry today and she was expressing her annoyance at brother perfectionist in our hall and how he is beginning to annoy her as nit picks over everything that the more liberal witnesses view as ok. so we were having some fun about what we could say to him that would really raise his eye brows.
she then suggested i say ' hey brother perfect, you'll never guess what happened to me.
i was sitting on the toilet when to my shock and horror, there was no toilet paper left.

Thought of buying a Surface book for software dev and some Illustrator/Photoshop stuff but when I saw the price, it was too much. I think I'm going to wait a bit. I'm really looking forward to the Microsoft Band 2. Time for a second job, more reasons to skip the meetings lol 😈 -

What is your purpose or what do you wish to accomplish while a member of this board?
by Tenacious inwhen i joined this forum i was seeking more people who felt the same way i did in terms of seeing the jehovah's witness organization for what it truly was; a false prophet.. once i found like-minded members i slowly started to open up and participate more in trying to help others that were also exiting mentally and physically.
today, i offer support to anyone who desires it regardless of what they believe or not believe.. so what is your purpose on this board?.

During my dark teen days I felt so bad that I wanted to just end my life and be done with it. I found this forum and a lot of the members were very supportive. Now I'm studying at Uni Computer Science and I'm happy because soon i'll be able to fade away and never return to the cult. I hope I can return the favor to anyone who needs help. Thank you <3 -
