  guys i really need your help

  todaythings have really come to a head and i have a massive decusion to make by 7pm tonight!.

  basically i have been dfed since march tryed to get reinstated two weeks ago but they said no, thing is i only did it for my family esp my dad he is not well and i love him to pieces.

  but when i got dfed i had a boyfriend and things have been up and down (hes put up with alot) but he is sticking by my side and i love him and want to be open about him and not lie anymore, .

  He's (She's?) right. Your Dad has the choice to make.

  Your Dad needs to know that YOU will always be there for HIM.

  Agree never to talk about JW's again and be honest. Don't bother trying to prove WT wrong. They don't want to know and it makes you appear a threat

  Play the same game and say that they are welcome to visit you anytime to see their grandchild.

  Never let them see their grandchild without you being present. Take control. Make them make the decisions. If anyone is forced to do something that they don't want to LET IT BE THEM

  Questions From Readers - No More?

  i have noticed that recent watchtower magazines (15 november & 1 december, 2005) do not have the article "questions from readers".. anyone have information on this?

  if the watchtower has discontinued the feature, it would infer that the "deeper things" are no longer a concern to the jw masses.

  or is it testimony to a cinch on information control?

  the examining the scriptures daily 2006 has been released.

  the jw rites of surprise and expectation over the new year's text are now at a fever pitch.

  it seems that the theme "godly obedience" was such a hit at the 2005 district conventions, that the governing body has served up an extra helping.

  Definitely Coke.

  Pepsi is sickly. Diet is awful and Pepsi Max is vile.

  Dr Pepper is hideous!

  Evanescense. Are you sure you're not thinking of Vimto? That's pink(ish)

  Anyone tried Lemon Coke? I like that. And it's even drinkable in diet cos you can't taste the diet.

  churches appreciating each other

  yesterday i saw something i've never seen before.

  a protestant church on the left side of the road has a sign saying it's their 50th anniversary.

  there is a rc church right across the street.

  I'm one of the owners of the local Christian bookshop and most churches and their members get on great, work together and have lots of joint ventures and initiatives

  Watchtower deception about JW divorce rates.

  there was a statement in a 1997 awake that i see people quoting on the internet that is trying to imply 4.9% of jws are divorced compared to half of worldly people.

  i have found some statistics that prove that this is quite a deception.

  awake 1997 september 8 p.11 a people taught to love.

  definitely deceptive stats.

  Of the 145000 German witnesses maybe half would be under 16 for a start. A percentage will be unmarried or widowed.

  A statistic of 50% of marriages ending in divorce is not the same as saying 50% of the population are divorcees!

  how long did it take?

  newbie here, a lil about me......grew up around the jw religion, never was baptized but i did get to the level of "unbaptized publisher" once, as of now i dont attend any "meetings", but still get the watchtowers and awakes pushed to me by family members.

  it's actually been 3 years since i realized that it wasnt the "truth", even though i've probably have known it all along.

  my question to the groups is, how long did it take you to stop calling it "the truth"?

  Hi Guys!

  I stopped calling it "the truth" within weeks.

  I correct any Witness who says ". . . when you're ' in the truth ' " by saying very pointedly " I think you mean't to say "when you're one of Jehovah's Witnesses"

  It challenges their glib assumption and, after 4 or 5 corrections in a few minutes, really annoys them!

  They don't realise how often they say it and the implications of saying it.

  the neurosurgeon called it glioblastoma.

  the radiologist affirmed it was glioblastoma.

  --glioblastoma is the brain cancer tumor that they diagnosed for my mother last friday from her mri results.

  Never ever shop at Comet

  .

  i went to comet yesterday and bought a new tv, it cost 1300 so ofcourse we handled it with utmost care all the way home.. when we got it home we took it out of the packaging to discover a huge crack all the way down the screen.. so i phoned up the customer service helpline and was put through to the store we bought it from, and spoke to the most unhelpfullest people on the planet, they denied all responsibility but eventually agreed to send an engineer round to fix it tomorrow.. then today i got a phone call from their repair department saying that the engineer was booked in error and that i should contact phillips, the makers of the tv.. so i phoned phillips and they said i should contact the store for a refund or exchange.. so i just phoned the store back and spoke to one of the muppets from the office who again denied it was their fault and said she will speak to the repair department again and call me back.. does anyone know what i can do about this or what i'm entitled to?

  Curry's and Dixons are part of the same group but I'm fairly sure Comet are not.

  Sad Emo. Haven't you got anything better to do with your time? I've got 7 STL Boxes withyour name on them!

  (And I'm pretty sure there's no big telly in any of them)
