I think the Mormoms have the wash tower beat as far as production and quality is concerned. Their music is so appealing and inspirational, I for a second thought about...no, its just a song..
hey guys, so, i went to the hall today with my parents (they needed a ride) and there was this song that i wasn't familiar with.
must be a new song or i might be simply ignorant of jw songs (i hate them).
to my surprise i actually liked this song.

hello to all the active jehovah's witnesses lurking on here, or those having doubts.
seriously, i welcome you.. i was explaining to one of my friends recently about how the watchtower society uses it's members to make them money every day without them even realizing it.
unbelievable?
How much have each one of us wasted on fuel and car repairs driving to and fro, giving away free rides to cheapskates and tight wads, who also would mooch on your account for free food. I bet it would add up to a tidy sum, possibly enough to have a nice retirement fund. Someone should have a class action sue to recover these monies that were scamed from so many.
does anyone else remember a brochure/ magazine from the early 80s with stories of demon possessed individuals and spiritism ?
i dont think i saw it around very long.
it had a story about some lady having her head snapped around by a demon.
After reading these "demon stories" written by the WT writing department, is proof that most all other "stories" about experiences and the like are all just made up lies. Thanks Anderson for exposing this sinister organization.
a user over on the jwtalk forum recently shared a warning over his research on evolution in preparation for an assigned talk.
after detailing a couple of the tidbits that he learned of during his research, he went on to say:.
this i found to be useful especially when talking ot others in the ministry.. but and it is a big but.....
Would like to see what he would write if he went to the Perot Museum in Dallas and saw all the dinosaurs and actually feel them. His head would explode.
do you remember those families where all the sons and daughters had weird biblical names?.
i recall a " machlon" , "eunice" , even a "jehosafath".
can you believe it..
Kenya
since leaving the jw's after over 4 decades, i can see exactly what it is and hate everything it stands for.
however, there are still some jw habits and traits that i can't get rid of:.
1. i can't swear in general conversation (i'd have to be really angry).
I still pick on the catholics for their hiding child sex abuse in PA. But Most of the news is doing so also.
a circuit overseer or a member of the gibbering body is giving a talk about demonism and he says the following, "there was an elder in a congregation in california who let his 8-year-old daughter watch disney movies that involved witches, gremlins, magic, and sorcery.
many may feel that they are harmless movies and are just entertainment.
well, the 8-year-old daughter actually brought a blue smurf doll to the public talk and watchtower study.
Probably 40% of the J dub super uber population would also swallow any pill prescribed to them by their Governing Body Doctors which would take them immediately to the promised land flowing with milk and honey.

And does anybody remember the story where John Denver supposedly made an announcement at the beginning of one of his concerts where he asked if there was any JW's in the audience, and if so, they were told to leave. Exelder, I heard this story and the singer was Barry Manalow. Each area of the world makes up their own lie to suit their gullible listeners .
when i was a jw and still living with my parents i remember the way my father held what could almost be described as contempt for archeologists, paleontologists, and other scientists who dared to try explain what happened in past.
he justified this attidtude with the argument that these people don’t have enough evidence to make such claims with any certainty.
however, i see now that his viewpoint was more likely a defense mechanism to protect his presupposed conclusion that everything described in the bible actually happened.
good story of the magic gremlin, I use the term "boogieman" Jehovah when I need to insert absurtity into a JW conversation. Usually get the same response , "stop mocking god" and I just smile...
when c.t.russell first printed his magazine it was called "zions watchtower and herald of christs presence" was it not ?.
so obviously he was concerned about witnessing about jesus and announcing his kingdom to all who would listen and read his magazine.it was jesus and his kingdom that he was witnessing about ,and of course those who followed him ,would have done and did the same.. their are over 20 scriptures in the christian greek scriptures telling christians to witness for and about jesus.
and that was in harmony with what the new testament ( the christian greek scriptures ) is all about ,witnessing to,for, and about jesus christ.. their is not one scripture in the new testament ,the christian greek scriptures that says or even indicates that christians .
Today you hear the phrase "Jehovah,s Witnesses" and more and more in the public relate it to a group that covers up pedifiles and misses predictions of the end of the world.
