  there's no doubt that the wtbts isn't sparing the hard-earned donations from the r&f on its latest trial of jw broadcasting.. this screenshot i took from the "behind-the-scenes" is just one of many examples of top-end tech gear being used in this endeavour.. .

  why does this guy need harmankardon speakers when he's using cad software...and note the iphone.

  EDIT: Ok, I take that back. That probably wasn't a leak. It seems to have been speculation. But, spot on.

  jw.tv is an available domain, in case anyone wants to scoop it up. At least, it appears to be available. Not quite sure. whois.com shows it's taken, but then says it's available when clicking on it. Weird.

  I wonder how long it will be before we see an app for this on tablets, phones, and large, flat-screen TVs. Imagine turning on your TV, and right next to Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime, there's JWtv. I can see it happening.

  i recently learned ttatt and it really sickens me when i sit through the meetings.

  i am so tired of faking things.

  Depend on what YOU want. For me, searching for truth, WHEREEVER IT LEADS, is important. That means lots of research, copious notes, etc. I tend to listen way, way more intently at meetings. It become super easy to pick up on untruth. But, there are things that I just don't know, so I make a note of it and it becomes a topic of research for myself.

  Makes sense. When Stephen Lett gave a talk at our DC a few years back completely demonizing facebook and social media sites, after he was done, he went back to his seat. He was sitting behind a brother I know, and at the song, the brother turned around to tell him he enjoyed the part, and Lett said, "Do you think they got the point?" If the go down this route, it would be one more about face for the org. I can see it happening, though.

  This is a truly brilliant stroke of genius they've pulled off. Packed full of stuff. Programming guide, on demand videos (that we've seem a bunch of times already, but still...), a pleasant design, decent quality in the streaming.

  But, as others have said, the religion I was baptized into no longer exists.

  Again, I say, I think the org is watching this site. "Gog of Magog" change plus TV? Both questioned / suggested in the last two years right here on JWN. The "Gog of Magog" link was posted earlier in this thread. I just found this one, though.
