because i was raised a witness, i don't think i was "uncomfortable" knocking on strangers' doors.
(weirdo).. but as i got older, i simply didn't want to bother anyone so i was at there door for no more than 30 seconds.
at the end i hated being there..
I grew up doing it so I guess it didn't bother me. I liked when we went out of town; less time at knocking on doors and we usually stopped for a treat: ice cream or a coke. It didn't take much to please my sister and I back in the
day. I did hate to run into one of my schoolmates. After I grew up, I really thought I was helping to save people. How dumb was I!

Quendi, I'm glad that you have found someone to love and who loves you. I cannot imagine why you found it hard to love yourself or think no one could love you. You come across as a very giving and
generous person. You were giving to your students, your family, and you have given of yourself on this forum. You've been generous in sharing your knowledge with us. I believe the ability to share yourself
with others is truly a quality of love. Just saying.

I believe in Love. It is a very important part of life. Love for a significant other is difficult to find, or put another way, finding someone worthy of giving your love, yourself, and your life to is difficult to find.
I am self-sufficient and find it difficult to share even my time with anyone. That sounds terrible, but that's the way it is. I am very independent. I think I love my jw sisters more than they love me or my df'd

today is my first anniversary as a jwn member.
it's hard to believe that only a year has passed since i joined, but i feel that's a testament to how much i have been welcomed and made to feel like part of the furniture.. i would very much like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on the forum for the immense help and assistance i have received, particularly in my first few weeks/months of posting.
it truly was a lifeline at a very distressing time for me.
