FingersCrossed and HoneyBucket, welcome to JWN. FC, I agree about taking things slow and easy. JWs are taught to refute other religions and science. It's also hard to accept that all that you have believed all your life is a lie. It takes time to digest it all.As another poster suggesed, ask questions about the beliefs and this may help him see that some things are just not true, no matter how often they are repeated.

Sorry to hear about the break-up of your family. Can't believe she left the boys but it may turn out for the best,at least they will be away from the borg. Do hope your wife's mental health improves. The borg can disrupt the strongest person's mental health. Keep strong.

I am also addicted to this site and am spending some money on paper and ink. There are some things I just have to have in print. As some poster said, things go so fast on here, sometimes it's difficult to keep up. I check as soon as I get up in the am and them before going to bed.

Ladies: A Purse Question
by Lady Lee inwhat makes a perfect purse for you?.

Yes, Lady Lee, post pictures. I love knitted purses. I had two when I was young and I loved them.I think it is nice to learn something new on a regular basis. I am trying to learn Latin.I am using WHEELOCK's LATIN Textbook. I have learned a little. Someone advised me to ask the local Catholic priest for help when I have trouble with some of the words, maybe I will just do that.
Here in the SE, I hear purses called pocketbooks.

it.It has a flap that with two leather roses on the front. When a security person at the courthouse examined it prior to letting me enter the courthouse, he told that was the neatest purse inside that he had ever seen. That comment made me try to do better with my other purses.

Can Lightning Strike Twice? New GB Prediction!
by donuthole inno more random anointing at all.
no more "i just have a feeling" vagueness.
the watchtower amps up the language implying that many (most?

That sounds like a good game plan on the part of the GB. If I was still a member of the borg, I wouldn't buy the argument, but I believe the r/f would accept it as " new light." I think the rest of the so called anointed will not take being demoted in this manner lightly. It will be interesting to see what happens.

How'm I gonna spend my two bits at the five and dime?
by compound complex indo you remember the five and dime stores?.
whenever grandpa saw us kids, he gave us two bits (25 cents) each and, when feeling generous, four bits (50 cents).. back in the 50s, the late summer air was charged with excitement as we poor but studious urchins pored over what school supplies we would purchase with our then valuable coins.
whether school supplies or toys or what nots were on the must-get list scribbled out in our heads, we could spend quite some time determining how to allocate our dough.. how about you?

I remember going to the local drug store duing lunch time at school and getting a tuna sandwich with chips and a coke for 35 cents. "Those were the days my friend." I love the line in "You've got Mail" when Tom Hanks tells Meg Ryan that he loves Fall, it makes him want to buy school suplies and that if he knew her, he would send her a bouquet of fresly sharpened pencils." I have been looking for a suitable vase in which to place a "bouquet" of freshly sharpend pencils. Maybe I should go to the Dollar Store and look for one there.
