Michael Jackson Wants JW As Nanny

i am watching the news and it was just reported that michael jackson adopted a biracial baby about three weeks ago.

he has a nanny for the other two children, but the baby proved to much for one nanny.

michael told her that she could have a helper with the stipulation that it be one of jehovahs witnesses.

just how do the 144,000 co-rule the earthly organization with christ?

i started thinking about this subject again after seeing the post on the watchtower as a false prophet.

do any of you remember how this was explained in the old days (i've been out so long i don't know if this is now "old light")?

I remember hearing of a case in a nearby congregation about this brother that was one of the annointed, that questioned one of the doctrine that was being promoted by the boys in NY. This happened back in the 50's. The fella's told him that they had to adhere to the teachings of the governing body and ask him to stop telling others about his feelings on the doctrine. He didn't and so they disfellowshipped him as an apostate. A few years later "new light flashed up" and what the annointed brother told them was revealed to them finally by Jehovah and Jesus Christ. Poor brother was through with them. He never came back.

In reading the ages of everyone, it surprised me that there were so many very young ones in this forum, because everyone that posted their age gives such mature comments in their posts. Of course the "older ones" like myself are expected to be more mature "most of the time". But all of us have "play" in us that comes out from time to time. I enjoy all of you!

Memorial attendance down?

last night 3 congregations met at the assembly hall for the memorial.

there were just a little over 800 there which really surprised me.

in past years every congregation around here usually had at least 300 in attendance.

" they sure think so............ from the book, the nations shall know i am jehovah:.

page 292 : there is an authentic prophetic class of christians among us...........concerning the message faithful delivered by the ezekiel class jehovah positively states it must come true..... what is it to be gained by hesitating and doubting to the end that jehovah can raise up and has raised up a genuine prophet within our generation?
