well first i want to thank everyone here for the good points etc... i have received over the last few months.

you guys have really been helpful!.

so the other day my mother wrote me a 3 page letter telling me how she was so scared for me because she could tell my love for the truth was gone etc.. so i decided i wanted to totally rip the band-aid off and get this matter over and done with.

Judicial Meeting

so here you are...sitting with a couple of elders at judicial meeting, and you're asked the following question:.

"do you still believe that the fds is the channel that jehovah is using"?.

now is it possible to answer 'no' without being df, or how would you answer that question?.

I was asked a similar questioned during my JC. I was shocked and asked them what brought that question on.

I just told the elders that the brother who gave last Sunday's talk made an error. Letting the elders know that I listened during the talks.

Jesus was talking to Peter and not the 144,000. In my mind it was impossible that Jesus was talking with the 144,000. And the scripture the brothered referred to was a conversation with Peter and he said 144,000. The 144,000 were not mentioned in the bible until Revelations.

Next thing I know they said that if I did not believe that the 144,000 was the Jehovahs Witnesses they could not reinstate me. Then they all stared at me then at each other. I asked what brought that on why would you think that way?

Not only that, one elder said he knew all 8,000 living 144,000.

Then they dismissed the meeting leaving me in total shock. Like what just happened here! I never questioned the organization 144,000 doctrine. It did not enter my mind until after that JC meeting.

Thank God I had a disfellowshipped friend that was a 144,000. I told her what happned and she gasped then laughed. She said what does that have to do with getting reinstated.

These elders know how to sway peoples thinking.

One thing I learned is to never put your guard down and think the elders are your friends during JC meetings.

They come up with all kinds of questions that has NOTHING to do with why you are in the JC meetings.

Stick to why your in the JC meetings and only answer question dealing with you.

Now, they could not get me in a meeting because it would not be for my best interest. My answer would be,HELL NO.

on an old thread (10 yrs) i found an interesting comment by aguest.. satan was hurled down from heaven to go and wage war with the remaining ones of her 'seed'.. he doesn't know who is a 'seed' unless and until such a one exposes oneself.. so 'his' war is against all of mankind and his tactic is to use mankind against one another.. .

we are supposed to have tender affection and brotherly love for one another,.

no matter what race, religion, sex, status etc.. the account of the good samaritan taught us that.. .

Fathers Day, not sure what to do

Although, you think I am a bad role model for my siblings right now.

The people in the world have MORE relible guidance such as higher education that helps acheive better careers that leads to a successful life style and happiness. They also thrive in community churches that teach about Jesus Christ grace and salvation for all who who believe. Unlike wordly people, Jehovahs Witnesses who search the WATCHTOWERS for the meaning of life wasted too much time reading made up doctrines and neglected their higher education. Unfortunately, Jehovahs Witnesses worry about their future employment and have no hope for a better quality of life.

Lawsuit maybe?

i would love to file an emotional distress lawsuit of some sort against the wt.

since my husbands return envolvement 2 years ago my documented mental health problems have gotten steadly worse.

this past weekend i started drinking after 17 years sober, a sucicide attempt that put me in a private psych hosiptal.

Here something you need to know and probably is your fears.

Your husband has the right to divorce you because your not a believer.

He is not bound to unbeliever.

Considering the above perhaps you need to leave him alone and let him worship the way he see fit, or he will use the clause to divorce you.

As far as your law suit it sounds like you want to blame someone for your nervous break down. How about going back on your meds.

Also, the elders would not tell your husband that he could not go out in service because your smoking. As long as you buy your own drugs.

Hell to be honest with you. I would have left you a long time ago. Why would anyone put up with it. Your manipulating your husband and this group but I see through you.

Your unstable and you need to seek help or call 911 and check your self in.
