Actually his book sounds like it would be worth reading!
I am going to order it for the local book store.
Hope he becomes famous!
several years ago on beliefnet there was a jw apologist named "apologist".
he was very well written and defended the dubs very well.
he had several debates with auld soul and others on beliefnet which were fun to read.. i recently found out that the poster "apologist" is no longer a witness and does not consider them to have the "truth".

DD I noticed your updates! Sounds like a sorry ass day! Your in shock! Hope you get over it soon.
I am in shock because someone posted this dam old AWAKE! Most took it to heart! People actually believed it! I guess I am getting old.
"If you are a young person, you need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years... Therefore, as a young person, you will never fufill any career that this system offers." - Awake!
Found something!
The "banana" talk!! LOL!!! "True Christians" need guidance. Where do you get it?? The FDS!! Some other "Christians" make claims...
Did you think any if it was food?
i have to go to bed, but i will post some highlights asap... so watchtarded.... .

OMG Ass day and going to bed. Your going to give us updates?
Some things maybe you should keep private.
i'm not sure how else to describe this meeting at my kitchen table.
my elderette ("miss k") arrived with her friend in tow.
i vaguely remember the 2nd lady ("miss w") from the times we went to the kh, but like miss k, we never really talked in depth.
Three hours is a very long time!
Women talking about faithful bibical men! That alone is a slap in your face.
How about faithful women through out bibical time!
Compared the faithful women did not error like the men,Noah,Moses, and Paul, proves a faithful servant is a woman!
See I can reason just like a JW.
They seemed to be defensive when you said something! Goes to show how their minds are controlled. Very closed.
It just boring to hear them say the samethings as what is in the WT.
okay so i'm dating a born-in jw woman, she's younger than me and has no kids.
i'm a christian man whos divorced with 2 kids.
we're in love and seriously want to be together.
Why would anyone become so involved emotionally with a JW? If they are not a JW?
Anyhow, lots of @uck with your young GF.
i was wondering if there was anywhere someone could point to in the bible for the watchtower belief that the great crowd is not included in the new covenant.
i know that this is their line of thinking when it comes to jesus being mediator.
they say that jesus is only mediator of the new covenant and since the gc is not under the new covenant, jesus is not specifically a mediator to them.
In the sixties, here is what I recall:
The multitude follows Jesus because he feeds them. John 6.
The Jews in the crowd, although I was taught it was the crowd rejected Jesus offer of bread and wine, manna from heaven.
That day the crowd and many disciples rejected the bread and wine of Jesus because they were discussed with his sayings.
After that the twelve were the ones who remained and the new Covenant was offered only to them.
WTS and faithful ones going to the meetings stated this all the time to young children.
It sounded normal and I never questioned this teaching until I was much older.
Only until I started to read in different bibles and wondering why so many teach the church all goes to heaven versus the 144,000 goes to heaven.
Now,I come to a conclusion that partaking has nothing to do with heavenly class or heavenly life. That is made up by Rutherford.
Heavenly life is up to the Father to choose, and maybe Jesus rewards, not any earthly person.
Partaking has everything to do with believing that Jesus is the Messiah, God's son.
Children were told to search our hearts and If we are not choosen to go to heaven that if we partook we would not have life everlasting! It was called, partaking unworthy. Many would frown on some who partook! Later I realized the only criteria bibically would to partake without believing Jesus is the Messiah and son of God. WT loves to confuse people by mixing two or three thoughts together good example partaking,144,000, heavenly hope, and other sheep.
Reading John 6 the JWs neglect the sayings of Jesus! It really is part of everlasting, eternal, life, and everyone who believes he is the true manna should partake. After one dies it is up to God.
Hope that helps some!
i am not hot linking to jw borg, but they have a whole section for obviously very small children (become j's friend, with a whole array of caleb-related stuff).
i have actually never visited the site, today was the first time, because i wanted to check a technical information about their websites architecture and came across this sh*t!.
the way they are targeting small kids is nauseating me (i have a 5 year old, still in with her mother).
I am stuck on the names!
Why not Peter and Mary!
although i was exposed to the jw's as a child as the only religion i knew, i was not a jw until i got out of the navy as a conscientious objector.
so i was typical "worldly" when i hit 18 out of high school and i got to see the world before personal catastrophy involving heavy drinking made me turn to the lies that i thought were "the truth.
" so just over 30 years ago, i got the special privilege of serving as the original crew of a brand new ship with a crew slightly over 200. i served 5 years on the "uss worldly" and then left to become a jw.. when you are the first crew, you learn together how to use that ship, how to run things smoothly.
LisaRose that is awesome!
OnTheWayOut I wish I could look at a wordly time. I had a short wordly time. Most of my past was trying to get reinstated which means no worldly association or JW! Some times I want to find old JW people because I know they probably are not JWs.
Wonderful stories.
omg i am so distressed.
i have a talk coming up on tuesday, it is the number 3 "abiram.
why opposing god appointed authority is tantamount to opposing god himself"!.
Apply your self to somethng that matters. Good to hear your wife is for you and understands.
It is such a joy to watch couples plan goals together such as college in the next year.
Those are the couple who succeed in life.
Not the dump idiot elders patting each other on the backs, good job with the talk! Going out in service blah blah blah.
Most of them really do not want others to succeed because they set their lives up for failure. Basically they are not blind but stuck in a rut! This is it for them. Scare to change.
hello everybody, before i begin i just wanna say that i have really found alot of great posts on here that have been helpful forme , theres definitely alot of brilliant people here!.
i am a born in jw(24 years old) ive been baptized for 7 years and was a ministerial servant for 4 years(i am no longer one).
recently me and my parents have have woken up to ttatt(about 2 months ago).
Welcome, your parents did the right thing!
You been robbed of a normal teenager life.
If your girfriend wants to break up it is time to move on.
You know what you do not want and that is to be a JW. You can control your life but try not to control anothers.
Granted life might get lonely but it is tme to focus on your self and break the JW mind set.
Try school for awhile and walk away from this relationship.
It would not be a good match and you will find love again.
The best way to get over a broken heart is make sure you have distance, no phone calls! That way your heart can heal and life moves on.
Arguing over doctrine sucks.
