I recently returned. Life moves forward.
Just feel I need the support of my fellow JW-Net, because no one on the out side would understand.
ok so i havent posted on here in over a year, i think i posted like a few times, then disappeared.. has anyone else like just shut it out?
like i joined here as soon as i found out, then after a month or two i just didnt want to think about it; i had my final exams, elders creeping about, my mom got crazier, i was starting college, other kinda issues, which made me just blot everything i learnt about my religion out.
well he hurt me too, oh i would give all my blood to you.

i really like this site and some of the comments i've read.
i was in the organization for 31 years and now i'm free!.
recently left the organization and am trying to rebuild my life.
Hello
so i signed up to volunteer at a local urban community center- first time i've ever volunteered for a non-jw effort.
i thought i would end up cleaning, organizing, something like that, but the first thing they wanted us to do was go door to door in the neighborhood handing out flyers!
face palm...
You are such a delight.
How funny!
well first i want to thank everyone here for the good points etc... i have received over the last few months.
you guys have really been helpful!.
so the other day my mother wrote me a 3 page letter telling me how she was so scared for me because she could tell my love for the truth was gone etc.. so i decided i wanted to totally rip the band-aid off and get this matter over and done with.
if someone elses daughter/son was called in a JC meeting. and asked,"Do you still think that Jehovah is using this organization as his only people????"
What do you think would happen? Given your answer?
How do you think your father would react being an elder in that meeting with someone elses son/daughter. You know,he would disfellowship them.
Thousands of young adults are treated wrong and shunned used as examples because one simple question. Simple questions like how do you know that 144,000 are just Christin Jehovahs Witnesses. Weekly, they are called into elders meeting not knowing that a simple questioned got them MARKED and later disfellowshipped. Those young adults did not know it would happen to them. They have loving families and wanted to keep in contact with their parents. Yet, due to one question got them called into an elders meeting. Now some of us are grown up and standing up and aginst this horrible organization.
Recently, an elders adult child speaks apostate, and the elder does not want YOU to tell anyone as long as YOU do not mislead anyone. What about all the innocent children who were not of age sitting in YOUR father elders meetings?
One person got kicked out of his mothers house and was homeless. No help from those elder or the congregation. I remember he used to call into the AOL exjehovahs Witnesses chat room. He and I used to chat and together we tried to find some solutions for him for the week.
I still pray for his safety.
There is a problem with TTATT.
Thanks for sharing because you just exposed more lies!
Hope you and your father and mother enjoys your relationship.
Good job!
quick question, faithful followers of our treacherous hearts... .
i should know the answer to this but.... so the great crowd class were identified in 1935, but does the wt suggest when it's members first appeared on earth?
all first century christians were of the annointed (i think that's right), so when do they think the first of the great crowd rolled up?.
Do you find at times WTBTS false doctrines stressful.
What about the multitude that listen to Jesus.
What about when he said he is the manna from heaven. Talking to the multitude.
It was a mixed multitude, and Hebrew turned their backs! The WTBTS reject the Great Crowd and refused eternal life for many.
They might have rejected eating his manna, flesh and blood, later they could have said we did not understand.
WTBTS probably thinks Hebrew 12 is just for the annointed.
My friend told me a joke. It is old as the 1982 doctrine.
A man dies and meets an angel. The angel shows him heaven with all the different doors. Inside one door people are dancing and having a good time, singing. Next door are some different chuches members, Gentiles and Hebrews enjoying each others company.
The next door way off by it self, The angel looks at the door and said, "shhhhhhh and opens the door'"
The man whispers,"Who are those people?"
Angel said that they are the Jehovahs Witnesses and they think they are the only ones up here.
a self indulgent post - just need to vent.
i've had a year... spent two years dating my ex jw bf and spending way too much time trying to get him out.
read way too many books, i.e crisis of conscience, freedom of mind, i'm perfect you're not, and even the damn bible, blah blah blah.
Men will use you up! It is like they need women to fix them. They prefer to get dumped so they look like the good guy to the next girl. Tea and sympathy from any women who will listen.
Last week a man told me his break up story. Never been married and 58 years old. Claimed he would like to get married some day because he was never married. The guy was in tears because his girlfriend dumped him said she was the love of his life. They dated for three years.
Now, at his age dating someone for three years means that he never planned to marry her. It really was a waste of my time and he enjoyed wasting my time, because he knew right off that he is not going to marry any one oneand that is why his girlfriend moved on! That will be the last time,I allow a man to waste my time. I was feeling drained after 15 minutes.
Bummer about your knee.
Double bummer about your job.
Dumping him was smart move. Now you can find someone you do not need to fix up.
Take care and get better soon.
so my family has obviously been noticing over the past several months that i've been missing meetings and fs.
i've had excuses sometimes, but not others, so my parents are definitely getting that this is more than a long bout of illnesses or fatigue.
i just received an email invitation to join them in service this weekend.
If your husband is not attending but a couple times a month what does he say?
Hmmm, perhaps you should tell your mother the truth without sharing your doubts.
Let your mother know what a loving and wonderful father your husband has been to you and your daughter. Let her know that you have a good marriage. Ask if she ever noticed that he only attended meetings a couple times a month. Mention how he is still a wonderful husband and how much you enjoy more time with family by not attending meetings. State that you do not want anyone to encourage him to attend or go out in service any more. Let her know that you are an adult and would prefer that family would stop checking up on your meeting attendance. THE Truth is you do not plan attending and hope you will at least abide by your wishes. Let her know how frustrating it is that he still wants to go once a month. Say,I just do not know what to do about that and hope he will stop going soon.
Please keep the conversation confidential because some people will just blow thing out of porportion like aunt drama queen. And you still want your daughter around her grandmother and grandfather.
Hope that helps.
from my young daughter's notebook titled "things to remember about the truth.".
i see i've failed miserably as a jw parent- or maybe not?.
Most chidren have what kind of titles on their note books? "Things to Remember"
Your daughters note book? "Things to Remember about the Truth." That really is sad! ekks! and very cultish.
Maybe you can play and teach her Julie Andrews song and help her change her note book to "These Are Some Of My Favorite Things."
so my mom was telling me that my aunt is going to be hosting a gb member and wife, cos and do for dinner after their dc this summer.
i immediately blurt out, "that sounds stressful.
" which is met with dead silence.
I immediately blurt out, "That sounds stressful."
Ekks! it is stressful. I think you gave your aunt an okay to not prepare dinner.
Little messages can change a persons concept and that is your goal.
Good!

Keep it simple!
Step by Step Instructions
1) Find delete button on your computer.
2) Put your finger on the key.
3) Press down on the button.
4) Temporarily place family members in your block list. They will just think you changed your email.
Try to live a drama free life style.
Never admit anything to family.
The above does not apply to minors.
Really do you feel special getting emails with invitations?
How about if you actually think enough of them that you call and ask if they want to meet for dinner.
Dinner,
People are egomania so just let them talk about whatever.
You do not need to answer questions politely change the subject and talk about them.
