according to wikipedias definition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hate_group), a hate group is an organized group or movement whose primary purpose is to promote animosity, hatred, hostility or violence toward members of a race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc.... the southern poverty law center explains that inclusion of a group in the list does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity.. under the category of religious hate groups, westboro baptist church was cited for promoting hatred toward homosexuals.

creativity movement and aryan nation were mentioned as promoting racial hatred.. is it a stretch to categorize the watchtowers rhetoric toward apostates as that of a hate group?

keeping in mind that promoting or engaging in violence is not required to be identified as a hate group, does the constant degradation of other religious philosophies, organizations and adherents constitute hate speech?

Have you ever wondered why as Jehovah's Witnesses you ignored the inconsistencies, lies and hypocricies of the Watchtower's Governing Body for so long?

here are a few examples of what i overlooked for so long:.

1. the watchtower often praised rutherford's 1918 talk "millions now living will never die.

" however, everyone who had ever heard that talk was dead.. 2. the governing body urges the placement of the watchtower's "bible" literature with strangers.

I was a true koolaid drinker. Never once was I doubted on doctrines or anything the Watchtower Organization ever did.

Although I had many personal experiences of utter hyporcrisy of Jehovah's witnesses particularily of elders. But I took them as personal imperfection. Never had I realized they all come from top down. I truly believed it was God's true and only organization and wait on Jehovah for any personal wrongdoing. Only issue I had with the Watchtower was their view on higher education. But I gave them a benefit of the doubt that they meant well.

'Just because your co-worker got you upset, you don't come home ask your wife for divorce. What has she done anything wrong?'-I was bought into this propaganda all those years. I was well trained to overlook flaws in the Organization.

I was fooooorrrrrrrrcccccccceeeed to awake by their tireless ongoing several years of cruel persecution. I know what being dehumanized is like. I saw the lifeless eyes of the prisoners behind the Nazi concetration camps. I understood what's in their mind. You have no idea how evil the Watchtower really is until you cross their absolute authority.

I have many fond memories of Bento. Our mother would packed carefully prepared sushi in a Bento box for the School Picnic. It was like a Sushi party at the picnic. All other times, we usually carried rice, vegetable side dishes and dried seeweed.

all of the litigation over issues relating to the production of the documents regarding campos, and the ability to sue the institutions for the conduct of a publisher were litigated in the dorman /gamboa case, which did not need to be re-litigated by the same judge in the second set of cases.

DO THREE ELDER'S MEAN IT IS JUDICIAL?!?

i have a friend who met with a couple of elders recently and i was told things went well, no issues.

well a couple weeks later they stopped by my friends place, ( just to say hi ) right before they left they said, " hey can we meet again?

my friend said, " sure ".

If anything, 2 elders previous visiting was an initial investigation, not a shepherding call. From that initial investigation the elders are charging your frined judicially. That's why the same 2 elders are part of 3 elders(judicial Committee) your friend about to meet. Why should elders tell your friend the true nature of the meeting especially if they are contemplating charging him/her of 'apostacy.' Their rules are for to protect and dictate their rights not for Rank & File. There are zero rights for R &F in Watchtower land.

At least they did initial 2 elders invetigation on your friend. They skipped all the steps on me.

good morning!.

here is the daniel of brazil (former bethel).. this week at the forum of former jehovah's witnesses had an interesting news!

All I can say is I surely not missing dropping $100-200 in the Kingdom Hall contribution box monthly. Besides, driving my car for service 5 days a week. Besides, contributing $100s at the conventions. Besides, contributing $100s every another year for Kingdom Hall Remodeling scheme. Besides, being conned $100s to Jehovah's Witness dishonest thieves.

For what was I DF'ed? NO smoking, nor drinking(moderate drinker), nor drug, nor adultery, nor stealing, nor gambling, done nothing! All I did was letting elders know they were harsh interegators instead of helper to young flock who are in their care. I was one of the best suppoters and a true believer for Watchtower. In this area, we have more inactive and DF/DA that they can make up one, if not two, good congregation. During last 20 years, this area has decreased for the Watchtower(even with all the steady moving in from out of states that we are in need). In fact, it turned into Dark Age Terror Reigning. I know numerous still in are very frustrated with harsh elders and even harsher local polices than officer ones. I wouldn't go back to that religion even if all 7 GB would beg personally. Except for undercover purpose.

It's all their problems not ours, isn't it? Softening their stance or take whatever action to survive are desperately needed without delay. The Watchtower should have recognized their issues if they had any brain or humble bone in them. But for me, to their credit, I am out of cult. One lucky ex-cult! Cheers!

This may true but many are predisposed to depression.

It is also true, for many, the Watchtower and its policies are the reason for the depression.
