  anyone with a case against the wbts for child abuse that (1) hasn't gone past the statute of limitations, which is 21 years, (2) that the accused is not the child's parent or (3) anyone who's child has been abused within the last two years and nothing was done, to please contact him asap.

  You should also report it to the local law enforcement on elders for criminal charges.

  A Mormon bishop was arrested for failing to report child sexual abuse allegation. In this case, a child was inappopriately touched by an adult fellow church member.(It happened several months ago in Provo, Utah. You can google the case) The law(if you are in 'reporting mandatory' State) requires Clergy to report (any) child sexual abuse allegation within 72 hours of being reported by church members. If this is the case with your situation, please contact your local police. (most Jehovah's Witnesses elders don't report child sexual abuse case within 72 hours, if reprot it at all)

  hello caleb fans.... my name is ole yella... i am a distinctive yellow airplane based on a wwii dive-bomber and i happen to be one of calebs favorite toys.

  his parents dont know this yet, but in my former life, i was used quite extensively as a special pioneer throughout europe where massive bombing of airfields and military installations was required.

  i am also proud to say that i have caused the deaths of thousands upon thousands of innocent women and children in the late 1930s and early 1940s in various other theatres of operation (isaiah 18:6; luke 21:25).

  Marital problems - advice (or support) please

  completely non-jw related this but value the diversity of experience and viewpoint on this forum.

  i am going to sketch this out quick as i can but please ask any questions if the gaps need filling.. as some may know, i have been married for 12 years with two children (8 and 4).

  my wife stopped work when the eldest was born and has been a stay at home mum since.

  James, I believe your wife has been taking advantage of you. You deserve so much better. It sounds like she has already made decision for you and your family. What I can gather from the information you have provided, your wife is no longer sexually, emotionally attracted to you. That's the bottom line. All other stuffs are irrelevant.

  A poster said your children have right to be their mother not stepmother. I am confused by this comment. Your children need balanced, unselfish parent who put their welfare before his/her own. I believe you are better parent to your children. Seek full custody for your children's sake. You do not leave home under any circumstances(She probably don't mind leaving once she found someone to run off with her) Do not give up your right. It is your home too. You didn't do anything to deserve to lose your home and your children.

  It's not easy. I was there in your shoes many years ago. I tried everything not to divorce for the sake of my children. It devasted me. Turned out to be though, that was the best thing I did for my children. It's too bad your current marriage isn't working out but you do have a whole life ahead of you.

  I want to release the motherload

  i have collected and assembled hundreds of letters, documents, publications, personal communications, e-mails from the branch etc.

  etc.. my original intent was to make some type of searchable database but my time has been taken over by more important things in life for me.

  i don't care about the jw's all that much anymore and who or what gets what information i don't really care.

  What the hell was I thinking?! Stupid me!!

  so my husband and i have a son who will be 2 years old next month and i really wanted him to be socialized more.

  ever since we stopped going to meetings, we have been pretty much shunned even though there has never been an "official" reason for it (df, da..).

  i am terribly introverted, so it's difficult for me to get out there and talk to people but our son is a people-person and i wanted him to have more peers to be around.

  freshstart, your comment made me think of a disfellowshipped woman with her 3 children.

  She was starting to attending the meetings again after had gone for about 7 years. Her children were 2, 5 and 9. Jehovah's Witnesses in the kingdom Hall treated her children as if they were disfellowshipped like mother and shunned those kids. No elders, publishers, pioneers, children ever even greeted them. I couldn't justfy myself any longer for such a unchristian behavior that finally indroduced myself and my children to those kids. They were so happy to be greeted. A mother was in tear and wisphered at me, "thank you." The sad thing was no one would still approach them for the rest of the time until She was reinstated. She faded away soon after(good for her).

  The Kingdom Hall is the last place you want your child to be. Bad association spoils useful habit. Remember the scripture? I am glad you learned this rather early than late. My grown children told me recently how hard it was for them to growing up with the JW kids in the KH.

  I signed up my children for piano, swimming lessons at 3 and golf, ski, tennis lessons around 5 and onward. I also took them to Children's Musium, the Tree House, parks, liberaries(they usually have a children section), and etc. Those were a lot of fun activities for my children(thank goodness I did something right for my children as a hard core JW). They are well adjusted responsible adults today. Sounds like your children are in good hands. I am sure you can sign up your 2 year old for some of the classes and activities avaible in your area. You are a good mother!

  The very first topic read: "Jehovah Tenderly Cares For Elderly...."

  The School took placed Nov. of 2011. It's now end of June, 2012, over 7 months since the School. Why local elders still have not taken any action of taking care of local infirm elderly Jehovah's witnesses couple and have abandoned them like a peice of garbage? Fortunately for the elderly couple, disfellowshipped ex-Jehovah's Witnesses are caring for their needs. How hypcritical!

  on page 171 of the "learn from the great teacher" book published in 2003 it shows a picture of a very cute little girl holding a ragged ann doll.

  she is sitting on a chair in her bedroom with her hand out toward a man that is coming toward her.. the paragraphs say "so just as jesus needed protection, you also need to be protected from grown-ups-and even from other children-who may try to have sex with you.

  usually, these people will pretend to be your friends.

  fleaman, I see your point. The point, however, you or some of you aren't aware of is its double polices. I am assuming you haven't had first-hand experience on this issue with the Watchtower.

  The bottom line is, every Watchtower publications are for the publicity for general public if anything and mainly propaganda purpose for their followers. It's not all bad what they say in their publication. They come up with pretty decent comments from time to time in their publication such as this one(tho, it failed to adress its more deeper issues). Problem is that the Watchtower's another yet deceiving polices that apply to their followers are not necessarily according to what they said in their publication. It's all your fault once allegation is made. It's all depend on local elders and how they manuplate the cases in effort to covering their a** and report the cases to Circuit Overseer and the headquater. Trust me on this.

  Your(victims and their family) voices mean nothing. The COs and the Watchtower only trust reports from their elders. Some of elders are abuser themselves. Top of that you are dealing with the Organization whose interest is protecting their own reputation and legal liablity. Have you ever called or wrote a letter on any legal issue to the Service Department and the Legal Department of the Watchtower Bilbe and Tract Society? They will give you complete different advises that contractdict one from the other. You are dammed for following either one. You will be punished by their boss, the Governing Body, for failing to follow one over the other. Their only policy for you is 'shut up and move on or else.'

  As you said, it happens everywhere. The issue is the Watchtower has two different policies, one for publics and the other for their followers. The policies that desinged to protect their own reputation only.

  The topic reads: "Ultimately it is the child who should stop the abuse according to the GB!" Yes! that's what they did to one of the victims that I know of. This kid suffered severely mostly because the way how elders and the Watchtower handled the case in protceting themsleves from liablity. They abused the victim far more than what perpetrator did.
