  good morning!.

  All I can say is I surely not missing dropping $100-200 in the Kingdom Hall contribution box monthly. Besides, driving my car for service 5 days a week. Besides, contributing $100s at the conventions. Besides, contributing $100s every another year for Kingdom Hall Remodeling scheme. Besides, being conned $100s to Jehovah's Witness dishonest thieves.

  For what was I DF'ed? NO smoking, nor drinking(moderate drinker), nor drug, nor adultery, nor stealing, nor gambling, done nothing! All I did was letting elders know they were harsh interegators instead of helper to young flock who are in their care. I was one of the best suppoters and a true believer for Watchtower. In this area, we have more inactive and DF/DA that they can make up one, if not two, good congregation. During last 20 years, this area has decreased for the Watchtower(even with all the steady moving in from out of states that we are in need). In fact, it turned into Dark Age Terror Reigning. I know numerous still in are very frustrated with harsh elders and even harsher local polices than officer ones. I wouldn't go back to that religion even if all 7 GB would beg personally. Except for undercover purpose.

  It's all their problems not ours, isn't it? Softening their stance or take whatever action to survive are desperately needed without delay. The Watchtower should have recognized their issues if they had any brain or humble bone in them. But for me, to their credit, I am out of cult. One lucky ex-cult! Cheers!

  This may true but many are predisposed to depression.

  It is also true, for many, the Watchtower and its policies are the reason for the depression.

  I am sooooo glad Candace case didn't settle but went to trial. It's about time the truth about the Watchtower finally come out . Candace I can't tell you enough how grateful I am for your courageous conviction! You did it for us all.

  side note: For the sexual victims, report the crime to the Police and/or the Chid Protective Service(if you are a minor) as soon as possible. The authorities have a rape kit that will help tracing the perpetrator. You will have a second witness, DNA evidence , if not more. Even for those of old cases, you just never know. Your perpetrator is may under the police radar already. I know of a case that the law enforcement has their ears open for another report on the perpetrator. Just because you don't have a civil case doesn't mean you don't have a criminal case.

  The Watchtower lawyer used Matthew chapter 18 to reach their secular goal, that is to protect themsleves from the law suit. The Watchtower would better figure out how they are percieved by the public sooner or later. Their lack of interest in protecting child is obvious to everyone.

  Should the Governing Body had any wisdom or any humility, they aren't in the position where they are today with Mr. Simon and many others.

  It's all up to you GB! Reform is the only answer for your survive. Insisting your way and going back to Dark Age era is a HUGE mistake. Otherwise, you will need more than one lesson as Mr. Simon said. Learn from what's happening in Egypt, Syria, Lybia, etc. The past Century authoritarianism style doesn't work with 21 Century's Social Media Revolution. Trust me, God is not with you either!

  • Promoting electronic use for their work

  (Subtle Changes or Avoiding mentioning Areas)

  • UN being a Scarlet Beast(UN to Nations who attact the religion)
  • Timing of partaking(ended in 1930's to will eventually end. W11, 12/15 ph15, pg 25*)
  • Rank & File not representing the Watchtower Society.
  • Reporting Service time electronically.
  • Promoting BOE's absoulte authority over Rank & File.
  • Selling and closing branches.

  3 things derived from offical changes: lessening and transferring legal liability(Watchtower to BOE), tightenning controlling, laying the foundation of borrowing the timing of its core doctrines .

  from Subtle changes: Avoiding its legal liability and transferring legal libility to BOE, promoting potential GB members, tightenning controlling in local level, Polictical partnership with the Government.

  Along with all the recent legal trouble, it will be only matter of time Watchtower turning into the 'Watchtower & Brumny(? or whatever Adam's last name is)Association Law Firm.' The rest are seperate entities(at least outwordly). Some of the subtle changes might be meterilized. Do not believe they will disassociate the inactive ones formally to avoid law suit. But inactives ones are DA'ed informally in the congregation. I've been hearing more and more of elders commenting on how some should be treated as apostate even though they are not df'ed or da'ed. That's the reason why some of you inactive ones are getting the shunning letters from your family members, I believe.

  need your advice again, please

  so here's the latest in my pathetic saga.

  i've tried to fly under the radar for the past year, but it isn't working so well.

  i've learned not to engage my wife in debates but rather to ask questions.

  I try very hard not to come across as a bad dad and I truly believe I am successful. They are too young to have heart to heart discussions with. I don't prevent them from going to meetings and I don't mention anything to them about what they are being taught. We go to the park, go swimming, play candyland, go to plays etc. There's no doubt in my mind that they'll have very happy memories. I am just so scared that the indoctrination will be too deep by the time they are old enough to be reached.

  I wouldn't worry about your wife's welfare at this point. She is an adult. You've tried what you could. You can't change her. Only she can. I wouldn't wait for her to do her part(such as research, use common sense, ampathetic, etc) any longer in cost of your children.

  What would you do if your family is drowning? Would you just passively standing and watching in hoping some miracle to happen? I would jump right in and first save my children. Before you realize, your oldest one will talking about getting baptized.

  I am still attending all the meetings. Believe it or not one of my reasons for attending meeting is to keep my husband in line. I've been working so hard to help him learning TTATT. I truly believed he was cult free now and using critical thinking fianlly. I was wrong! Watchtower 2 Sunday ago campagning Armageddon propaganda big time. My husband's 'what if' kicked in all over again.

  I would not let my children attend Charlie Menson's session twice a week with their Menson follower mother. I will do anything to stop them from going. Take them to Park, children's place, hiking..... If Nothing works out I would go to the meeting with them to aware what's going on at the meeting. I will reason with my children and wife whether what's being said make any sense or not. It takes a lot of work and patience but what's more important to you? Your children having happy normal lives or grow up to be zambie cult members?
