  HOW MANY JW KIDS LIKE SATURDAYS

  think about it.. we were the only kids that hated weekends, all the other kids got to stay at home and watch cartoons, we had to pound the pavement and get up early sunday for the boring meetings.. any thoughts.

  Oh man, weekends sucked. Field service on Saturday morning, study WT with mom Sat. afternoon. Sunday completely ruined because meeting was at 2:00 which shot the morning (dreading it) and didn't get home until almost 5 p.m. when it was time for bed and Monday.

  Tuesday night - book study at some old lady's house and it SMELLED ewww

  Friday night - two hours of mind-numbing brainwashing and the dreaded nights when you had a TALK ewwwwwwwwww

  Let me not get started on assemblies....

  I guess the only days of the week I liked as a child were Monday, Wednesday and Thursday! But wait, no those days sucked too because I was such a pariah in school. I couldn't wait to turn 18 so I didn't have to go anymore.

  How do I make it the best Anniversary ever!

  my man and i are approaching our one year anniversary and i want to make it one he will never forget.. now as a female, i get very romantic and soppy.. i want to make our evening one he will never forget.. i have booked us into a motel with a corner spa, and will have champers and chocolates waiting on arrival... we have a 3 course meal booked into the resturant downstairs.

  i am new to the "sex scene" and i want to make it special for him.. i have had a couple of good suggestions in chat, eg chocolate body paint, black stockings and high heels...any other suggestions??.

  Mmmm

  Buy some really good massage oil. Give him a glass of wine. Do you have a fireplace? Lower the lights (candles are nice. Soft music too...)

  Warm the oil in your hands so it's not cold when you put it on his back. Give him a nice back massage.

  Turn him over. Repeat. If you do the front massage right, he won't be sleepy anymore.

  Help! I can't get my wife off

  i have been registered here since october 2001, when the un story broke.

  i figured it is time to start my first official thread and introduce myself.. first i would like to thank simon for providing this forum.

  i have enjoyed it immensely for the past year or so and found it both thought provoking, and humerous.. the problem i have, is trying to get my wife of 18 years to visit here.

  OMG, your subject line got me ... ummm ... thinking... impure and ummm... untheocratic thoughts...

  Welcome! The internet can be addictive. Place like this sure as hell can be addictive!

  My advice? Let her revel in this for as long as possible. If you ever see it becoming a problem where she's not doing anything else, then I suggest the following:

  1. Warm oil massages

  2. Bubble baths

  3. Weekend away at a romantic spot

  4. Candlelit dinners at a fabulous restaurant you've never tried before

  5. Revisiting your honeymoon destination

  6. Sending the kids to relatives for the night and.... did I mention candles and soft music??

  Wait, did I say "If you ever see it becoming a problem where she's not doing anything else?" Umm, you don't have to wait THAT long to implement the above suggestions... as a matter of fact, I think I'd get started now... You know what they say about preventive medicine...

  What purpose? I'm sure you're right, I think so too, I just can't figure out what it is.

  BTW, I live in NYC, and the cost of living here has shot to the moon because of 9/11. Unemployment up. Property taxes up 18.5%. Transit fare going up 25%. Bridge and tunnel tolls going up. Some buildings here cannot even GET insurance, let alone the premium hikes that insurable buildings have had. Some buildings down near Ground Zero CANNOT get insurance, no matter what they agree to pay.

  At work they've closed the garage and two entrances to the building. I have to wear a badge to get in. Visitors to my building (the MetLife building 200 Park Av) have to go through metal detectors. I could go on and on...BUT cost of living wages are NOT going up to meet the new expenses. Unless you're rich, you can't afford to live here anymore. But where is the Federal Government? Spending billions on Saddam. For control of oil.

  Meantime, in the newspapers are constant reports of the rest of America saying that New York City should stop 'whining.'

  Osama screwed up our lives. We live in fear of another terror attack. People are leaving in droves. What happens here affects the stock market. Another hit on NYC by the Osamas of the world waiting for us to focus on Iraq, and the rest of the country will really feel it.

  I'm not saying Saddam is a boy scout. He should have been taken out the first time (by Dad.) But Bush is going it alone, and that's scary.

  I can't understand why Bush says that we "know" where the weapons of mass destruction are in Iraq, but isn't sharing that info with the weapons inspectors.

  Osama isn't finished, which makes it hard for me to comprehend the more useful purpose of letting him stay at large.

  Thanks IronGland. But I guess I was gullible enough to believe that he did say it since many of my friends feel that he's trying to finish the job his father didn't, as well as control the oil. One of my esteemed colleagues (politial science major) noted that the U.S. doesn't have a plan in place as to what happens when Saddam is toppled (e.g. a successor) other than just controlling the oil U.S. occupation.

  No, it's not personal.

  And I STILL want to know about Osama bin Ladin and why he's not caught yet. Billions of dollars for a buildup in the desert. Why can't 1 lousy billion of that be for a reward for Osama's head? Swift and sure retribution for 9/11 would have been a wonderful deterrent for the Saddams of the world. OK, maybe not Saddam himself, but others who think they would like to be like him when they grow up.

  a closer examination indicates there's almost as many different "ones" as there are "classes"!

  Clean toilets article, paragraph 6 mentions "such ones."

  And WHAT is up with the Written Review question #9, where it says Jesus felt
  intense emotional pressure in the Garden of Gethsemane because he was
  concerned about how dying a criminal would affect Jehovah and His Holy Name?
  I mean, he wouldn't have been upset about his upcoming slow and agonizing
  torture and death, would he? Of course not, he was just worried about bringing
  reproach on Jehovah's name.

  And finally no KM would be complete without a reinforcement of shunning:
  #35: "The loyalty that marks Jehovah's organization transcends every human
  relationship, such as that of close flesh and blood realtives."

  wll, i for one won't stand silently by and watch farkel throw away his talent on the likes of mozart, lindt, back, beethoven blah blah blah.. i think it's about time we demanded farkel make a career move that could place him in the upper echelon of world class musical artists.. yes, ladies and gents, it's time for farkel to record the kingdom melodies for our listening pleasure!!!!.
