Take the Duggars. They have 19 children. Let's suppose that each child has 3 children, which is pretty conservative. That will be 57 grandchildren. Then suppose that this trend continues. Some children may have no offspring and some more, but let's say they average only 3.
57x3=171
171x3=513
513X3=1,539That's counting three children per person, but seems to have overlooked that it takes two people to make three children and should count 1.5 children per person.

Take note of how they talk down and belittle women during the wedding talk - at least they did at the last one I heard.

Confidential Materials!
by Atlantis inall documents of important nature such as, our kingdom ministry, boe letters, forms, or other materials will now be sent only by email or private message communications.
they will not be posted out here on the board.
if someone else wants to post them, be my guest.. .. we have no other choice in this matter, and sending out confidential documents is better when it is done privately.

They seem to have missed that experience in WTLibrary and the 2003 yearbook dealing with the Philippines...

"So you see, even Job had these irrational thoughts. Yet he was determined to be an integrity keeper, and you can do the same."
Coming back to the original OP, when you're depressed and suicidal, is this really what you want to hear : do more, preach more, stay faithful? More guilt trips!
What they're really saying, is keep beating the R&F, but do it with a soft, honey coated voice. After all, this is the WT speciality.
Sorry guys, I don't think so. I've seen firsthand elders use this line with someone in that situation, and no amount of sweet voice talk will cut it.
And by the way, unless I misread the OP, the sister ran to the back of the hall, got followed by the elders who "sweet-talked" her, and suddenly at the end she produces some wonderful home-made cookies. Since when does a KH have an oven, or a sister just happen to have home-made cookies on hand at a meeting? Just wondering.

Old time JW's did some very devout JW's refuse to eat pizza with pepperroni because they believed "blood" was in the pepperroni?
by booker-t ini have never heard this before until i read a life story of an ex-jws and how some jws in the past refused to eat pepperoni pizza because they thought blood was in pepperoni.
i do know some elderly jw sisters would complain about eating steak if it bled while cooking.
has anybody else heard of this pizza nonsense?.

Yes, red and pink candy was definitely off limits if you bought into the "beetle blood" idea.

Yes, there was also the blood in chocolate fiasco sending panic in the camps. I don't know how many letters the chocolate companies received on the subject from enquiring minds. Fortunately, it didn't last for long. (The chocolate bars in question did have 'plasma' listed in the ingredients.)
And yes to the red specks in eggs being off limits, religiously checking all the ingredients on processed foods, and avoiding anything containing the famous red beetle blood - actually falling for the idea that beetles have blood - how gullible can you get!
Oh, and did anyone do this : go out to fancy(ish) restaurants and ask the waiter to go check if the duck had been bled so you would know if you could order it or not ?

Yes, that blood in the wine episode left many dubs scratching their heads and worried over which one to choose for the annual M.
They just couldn't have THE wine polluted with...dare I say...blood
