Newspapers do not print stuff like that either, so why should we have a problem in a public forum being asked not to print stuff like that.

I have no problem doing my best to abide by the rules. I can't say I have never slipped up, but if I do and print something really deliberately offensive and it is removed I will no make an issue out of it because I know what freedom of speech means.

If I walked into a public mall (and this is a mall of sorts) and someone was shouting obscenities in the mall I would expect that that person would be asked to control himself or herself and if that refused to do so they would be escorted out.

ever since i came to this board i have been constantly amazed at the great propensity for bickering and moaning in this place by a certain minority of posters who might know better, you're so politically correct some of you.

you ruddy do me head in sometimes, i don't know what it is, maybe you think you are being clever, but it always seems to be the same ones that make the same disparaging remarks over and over again, not clever, just exceedingly boring.. so what if some posters get up your nose, what the blinkin' hec does it matter?

bill bowen has started an organized effort to help innocent vicitms and their families to recover from the abuse they suffered and the way the wts has handled their cases.

he has started a thread to see if anyone among us here at jw.com would like to help in those efforts.. someone, who we are all familiar with, has disrupted bill's request with equally insensitive remarks and intent as that of the recently deactivated fred hall and bleep.

he states that he has the right to post anywhere and say anything he wants, well, hopefully simon has a different answer!.
