I posted on this here. It concerns Satan's being cast out, not when Jesus started his rule.
This post has references to when the Bible does indicates Satan was cast out (for any interested).
(On the links you'll have to scroll down to my post. Something has changed that causes the link not to auto-scroll down to the post intended.)
matthew 1:1 is called "the book of the generation" - everything in matthew refers to this same generation.. similar terminology can be seen in genesis 5:1 " this is the book of the generations of adam.
when god created man, he made him in the likeness of god.
" all of the descendants mentioned in genesis 5 cover a time period of 1656 years.. another example of this type of generation, reference can be seen in genesis 37 "v.2 these are the generations of jacob.".
the gb can kiss my ass.. i'm writing "0" on the little slip of paper they pass out.. hey here's a thought:.
you know that "widow's might" stuff they're always talking about?
well i'm pretty dang sure that the lady was giving from the heart not because she filled out some dumba$$ piece of paper pledging two small coins several months previous!.
In our hall a small (1 x 2 inch) slip with the printed words "My monthly donation _________" was passed to each publisher (not each family head). The elders said they would review the totals and then decide on an amount for the KH building fund based ton the total pledged versus known bills.
No time for questions was alotted and no resolution was passed. The brothers passed the slips out during the local needs part (10 minutes) and collected them towards the end of the same part. When someone was ready to turn in their slip they simply raised their slip and the brother collecting them held out a box to drop them in.
my father who is an elder with decent organizational connections mentioned that very soon there would be "new light" regarding the resurrected being able to be married.
this would make sense because our current understanding has never made any sense to me.
has any one else heard anything about that?.
i recently had a casual conversation at a bar on the subject of atheism.
they used the expression "greek scriptures".
i didn't pursue it but it made me wonder..
I find it funny that "Christian Greek Scriptures" is more accurate. This is why we don't say "New Testament." Yet "Jehovah" is used, despite its lack of technical precision, because that is the form of the Tetragram that people are familiar with.
I've converted back to "New Testament." If asked, it is for the same reason I use "Jehovah." It is what people are familiar with.
"why are you looking forward to 1872?".
.. "in this chapter we present the bible evidence which indicates that six thousand years from the creation of adam were complete with a.d. 1872; and hence that, since a.d. 1872 are chronologically entered upon the seventh thousand or the millennium.

With regard to Zechariah 8:23 (referred to in paragraph 14) I posted research about that here and here.
The Society applies its fulfillment to the great crowd of Revelation 7. Paul applied it to "ordinary people or unbelievers" in 1 Corinthians 14:23-25.
Numerous sub-links to research on the great crowd here (Connections with Abrahamic & New Covenant & being anointed themselves).
hi guys ,i need ideas and articles about the great crowd .i will be writing a series of articles on this subject and i wonder if you can help.. what do you think are the best topics in relation to the great crowd?
one i can think of the top of my head is " is the great crowd in heaven?".
