  No, not anymore, I used to work for them, then they were assimilated into the Norwich Union, now they are called Aviva PLC.

  It was quite funny how many of us JWs got a job at the CU, I worked with a Pentecostal and he would see a new person start work and he would think he was being amusing when he would say, "I suppose shes a JW as well", myslef or one of the other dubs would look roung, recognise the new person and say, "yse, shes from so and so congregation", and the Pentecostal man would be aghast.

  Ive worked out how the org can salvage not only 1914, but also the generation doctrine.

  You see, unlike the ancient Egyptians, who were well aware of Moses presence and the plagues sent by God, we learnt from the Revelation book that the greater fullfillment of the plagues of Egypt, that being the plagues of Revelation, were all so subtle, in fact they where invisible, that mankind is totally oblivious to the sounds of trumpets and the wrath of God seeingly impotent as he hurls down plague after plague with not a single non-JW even relaising whats actually happening around him!

  So, just as Jesus is also invisible, as is the rest of Revelation, well.....wait for it....Armageddon is also invisible, well was, as its been and gone, happened back in 1975, all those non-JWs are dead, they just dont realise it, its like an invisible death that even JWs cannot see, just as they cannot see Jesus, even though hes been here for 98 years.

  18 we need to remember that what jehovah has promised as a spoil is our soul.

  even if a few of hisservants perish in the persecution that may come during the great tribulation when the political horns of the wild beast turn against religion, those faithful ones will not really have lost out.

  The Harlot Babylon the Great, isnt Rome or false religion, this is just one of the many things the JWs got wrong, (false religion doesnt have a "Kingdom over the Kings of the Earth" and it doesnt control world banking).

  The "Great City" isnt Rome, its Jerusalem, compare Matthew 23 with Revelation 18 regarding blood guilt and the death of the Prophets, its the same Jewish rulers and the same blood guilt Jesus attributed to them.

  Now, the reason Jerusalem wont be thrown in the Lake of Fire I would guess, is that the Lake of Fire means permanant destruction, though Jerusalem will be destroyed as it was before, it will not be a permanent destruction, but God will rebuild it as his City.

  when does jesus appoint the slave over all his belongings?.

  in those verses, jesus is referring to his coming as judge during the great tribulation.matthew 24:30; 25:31, 32.. jesus appointment of the slave over his belongings, then, must also be a future event.

  Goodness, next thing they will be abandoning 1914, then telling everyone to take the emblems, I will run out of reasons not to go back!

  Maybe they will abandon all these false claims so that they can start again and claim he arrives in 2014 and choses them in 2019 and then go through the whole cycle again.

  there was no shortage of places where demons were hiding, ready to possess those who stumbled upon them.

  I was only in five minuetes before being invited to a neighbouring congregation fancy dress party.

  As I knew nobody would know me, I went as the invisible man by wearing sunglasses and bandage around my head, that way, people were thinking they must know me, but couldnt work out who I was,

  anyway, in view of the topic, and I was allready aware of the JW paranoia, I was most suprised to see one of the Pioneer, Elder daughter I think, types, wearing a complete Devil outfit, skin tight in red, with tail and pitchfork, and nobdoy else seemed to consider this even remotely ironic.

  Years later I was still friends with the original host and we were looking through her old photos, then I spotted the mentioned party pics, "theres me"!, I said, pointing to the invisible man, "Ive been wondering for years who that was", she replied.
