  Big Shake-Up Among Jehovah's Witnesses

  i heard that there was a recent (january 2013) big shake up on the west coast in orange california.

  i think it is a kingdom hall on taft street in orange that has a double hall.

  anyway, i heard that there were 10 to 15 disfellowshiped, others given public reproof and several congregations broken up and new conregations started as a result.

  i was just googling jehovas and this appears in the list at wikipedia abou raymond franz.. *theinformationon this page was removed by responsible members of the legal coorporation of jehovah's witnesses,watchtower bible and tract society of new york,inc for the sole purpose that this page spread false information about a former member of jehovah's witnesses.the authors of the page are liable and did not remain neutral with regards to the information presented.we request you write a written apology to us..

  i am a born in, still in wanting to get out ms. i have refused eldership, used to pioneer and have sooo many stories.

  It Appears The Elderly Are More Taken Care Of Then Ever Before By The Elders

  i usually find fault with the religion but i must give credit when due.

  in the hall my mom is in, they regularly check on her and assign different ones to visit and check on the elderly.. if there's a storm or an extremely cold day, they come by to make sure the elderly have everything they need..

  Many elders and pioneers will visit shut ins and elderly during field service and count time while doing so.

  Its a great way to get out of the elements and not have to preach .

  Alos many elders try to get elderly to leave their money to the cult .

  Newbie Again (Kinda Sorta)

  i made my first post (which i have attached) more than 2.5 years ago.. sad to say i am still in the same situation.

  still "physically in" but have mentally been gone for years.

  i am still in my marriage and unfortunatly things have not gotten any better as far as me being able to help him see the light as far as the organization.. i am at a serious crossroad though because i am almost 30 years old, with no children.

  We have people we love trapped by a publishing corporation cult .

  Anything that can, will be blamed on you because you are not "close to Jehovah" .

  All because you refuse to be deluded .

  i have been wondering if persons here have ever worked the same territories jws work to create awareness to house holders?

  for instance, producing custom pamplets or tracts discussing the culture and demands of being a jehovahs witness.

  the doctrines and history explained in a fatual manner so that people can weigh the pros and the cons prior to accepting a bible study?

  do not call list.

  an ex-jw in the uk has come up with a brainwave!!.

  he canvassed his local area and came up with a signed list of several thousand householders who did not wish to be called on again by jehovahs witnesses.. this list was then handed to the local congregations and the london bethel who were then obliged to list all those households as do not calls.. has anyone else tried this?

  You could also work with the churches and senior centers in the territory.

  Put together materials . Maybe a DVD/CD . Offer to give a

  cult awareness seminar . Be their go to person if any member is approached

  by cultists .

  Start a "Do not call" movement in your area .
