No can I get out of going in service?

as some of you who read my previous thread know, my matrix moment has passed, and i am on my way out.

i am trying very hard to fade slowly in hopes that my wife will wake up, and maybe my family too.

the problem is, my conscience still works well, and i don't want to go out in if service and tell people things that i know aren't true.

The watchtower goons have blood guilt on there hands from the nazi camps to malawi and other places. Instead of being nuetral and all pacifist in these situations they should have kicked some nazi ass or covertly escaped (lied there asses off) while doing the Nazi salute. Being thrown into the death camps totally didn't have to happen. The bros in Malawi should have bought the damn cards. They died for some piece of F'ing paper that means nothing.

So CO just lie your ass off if you have to because you owe them nothing. We are made in God's Image or so the bibble says. If this is so would any human with a compassionate heart just set back and let this happen? Would you allow some person to rape your wife in front of you because you are a pacifist? It is protecting the innocent. Freedom comes at a price and if that sounds too cliche I'm sorry but it is true. This is also compassion because Life is not Black and White. It never was and never will be. I didn't hear about JW's complaining about being rescued by the Allied forces even though they are supposed to be part of the Evil United Nations. That documentary "the purple triangle" makes me so livid at the WT almost as much as the Nazi's" Sure they stood up to the Nazi's but if they Allied forces hadn't acted then Tyranny would have prevailed and now we would all be in the biggest Political Cult in the history of man! I think there are pointless wars and those that have to be dealt with to oppose tyrannical oppression. Thomas Jefferson once said, " The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

whenever i talk to a jw when i rarely see one i bri g up the laws in the ot, like raping of virgins in deut being ok and forced to marry the rapist.

it seems they just are not aware of these laws or any in depth the history or customs of the ancient jews.

is the wts ashamed of the ot and the truth about the jews ?.

Phineas murdered that young man and women just because she was not an isrealite. And Jehovah's anger was softed by this act of zealot murder? How does this not conflict with a God of Love? Hmmm When I read this it turned my stomach and yet my cult indoctrination argued with me about it and kept telling me this was righteous indignation! No wonder so many JW's snap under the pressure. Cognitive Dissonance is a real beeeaaatch!

the letter leaked today on "confidentiality" had an infurating set of paragraphs on suicides, attempted suicides, and threatened suicides.

Can this letter be varified? How would be go about doing so? Are there any undercover xJW's keeping files in a real file cabinent so that we can amass proof of her sins all the way to the heavens? I certianly hope so. What would happen to all the poor sheep if the WTC were raided and found bloodguilty of murder, corruption and deceit? They have said for years that the end of false religion will be followed by a final attack from the authorities on the JW's. Will everyone awaken when God doesn't step in and save them at the last minute? I hope it would be a "ding! ding! ding! I've been decieved followed by a massive amount of suicides due to realizations that they have been living a fantastic lie created by megalomanic, self appointed, self righteous, men who never had God's approval at all. Proverbs 16:18 which says, Pride is before a crash and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Avatar really resonated with me. It's message about how to really live in harmony with our earth and what happens when we disregard our place in the balance of nature is sublime. I went and saw this with my wife and then right after that the next week sister zealous starts bashing it for having a name associated with Hinduism. Avatar was the title because it was a metaphor to internet avatars we use below our names on internet forums like this one. I'f you have seen the movie you know what I mean. The message was actually very american indian and Gaia Earth.

This sister had not seen the movie to make this kind of judgement but only wanted more brownie points with her elder hubby and friends. She is quite the bitch actually and judges people very harshly. Guess what her Mother is of the Anointed so she is untouchable! Sad isn't it?

Was everyone surprised by how nice worldly people can be?

i, like most born ins grew up being taught that everyone who was not a jw was inherently wicked, that they were dishonest, unloving, selfish, bad parents who don't care about their children, and also sad empty people with no direction in life.. as i grew older i started to see that this wasn't always true with every one, that what i was taught wasn't equating with what i was seeing.. by high school i could see that my friends at school, (yes worldly friends eek!

) we're actually decent people with morals, they may have engaged in a little fornication here and there but not promiscuously, and they were good honest people, with goals and parents that cared for them.. but after high school i was phsycologicaly bullied into ceasing contact with my friends altogether, leaving me with little contact with outside world, and the cult mentality had more room to grow, not fully, but enough to unconsciously not fully trust 'worldly' people.. however, once i'd left the org and began to meet people again, i was amazed at actually how good, honest, loving, kind, and caring many people can be!

who love their spouses and children and try their very best to be good parents and partners.

I hate the world "worldy" I always have. Lets call them normal people from now on. Since my awakenning I've realized the beauty in the diversity of peoples personalities and character. Sure they cuss and goof around sometimes but at the core everyone is human and many will help you out if your in trouble. It doesn't take a religion to give you a good heart and mind filled with compassion for your fellow man. Ultimately its just a choice you make and hold yourself to not a belief system. I find myself being more and more extraverted around everyone now accept other witnesses which I have to watch my ass around so as not to do anything that would stumble them or cause them to go tattle on me for. I'm still in a lot of anguish but my sense of freedom I think is winning the battle for my mind and heart.

my dad recently found out i wasn't coming to meetings and going out in field service.

he found an excuse to get me alone in his car and just lit into me about it.

he said that if i'm not going out in service that i'm not one of jehovah's witnesses and the brothers won't be able to trust me when the time comes to go undercover due to being attacked by the authorities.

This sounded very very alarming coming from my father's mouth. This all came back to him because some elders in my congregation were gossipping to him at the assembly. Aren't they supposed to keep matters like this confidential? I think I just had my first Godfather experience. Can anyone relate to this at all? please post your comments or experiences!

Is Watchtower Having Financial Problems?

i have to wonder if the watchtower is having financial problems of some sort.

at the very least they are spending more than they are taking in.

which would explain all of the cutbacks of the last decade.

uuuhhhhhm at the meeting the other day the Building committee announced to use that we would be recieving a donation servey form that we should fill out and turn into the elders to estimate how much everyone was able to give to the fund for building a new assembly hall in our area. I'm not sure whether this will be anonomous or not but the way I see it you might as well pass around a collection plate. Talk about a guilt trip!

I'm having the same problem. I'm having the same feelings about praying over the food, my family worship and everything really! I'ts especially hard for me to play the game with such a keen concience myself CO.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. I still have to listen to this sh**t at the sunday meetings till I can get my wife and I safely away. No wonder I feel like I'm loosing my mind. The JW kids of this generation I think will be leaving in droves! They might as well tell everyone to sit in a small black room with a small lamp in the corner and read the bible till Armeggedon comes while sipping JW coolaid through a nice little crinkled straw. I keep on asking myself how the hell this cult actually survived to 2012! Damn I'm disappointed we were supposed to have flying cars by 2014 and cool little hover boards by now! Great Scotts Marty!
