Current policy regarding child molesters
by loosie ini brought up the conti case with a newly x- jw and they said that the child molestion policy was changed in 90's as far as elders reporting to the authorities.
so my question is what was the policy changed from and what did it change to?
and what is the most current letter that we have a copy of regarding the reporting policy?

Call legal. If there aren't two Witnesses and the accused denies it, nothing they will do.
They'll tell the kid not to slander the accused's name by telling others in the Congregation. While the 2010 manual says NEVER SUGGEST NOT TO REPORT, they will not suggest reporting it, either.
They give the schtick about slander, let you know slander is a punishable offense and let you decide what you think it all means.
ElderElite would have the best info on that since he's an Elder.

ANON WTS SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY
by okage init was proposed in my last thread by someone that it'd be helpful if anonymous got the itch to acquire the watchtower's confidential registry of sex offenders.
i agree wholeheartedly with this idea and will be making pleas on sites they frequent in the effort to inspire them toward another worthwhile goal.. they hate the church of scientology, child abusers, suppression of information, censorship, and corrupt businesses, so the watchtower society's downfall should be very intriguing to them.
i am only one voice and would be a powerful movement to shift our burning desire to a group with the resources to get it done.. if you do decide to ask for their help, remember to word yourself carefully.

If you do decide to ask for their help, remember to word yourself carefully. No need to get yourself in any kind of legal troubles by making direct requests. State your plight, say what you think would help, then leave it alone.
Here's to making the movement a firestorm on the heads and shoulders of every Blue Pill Witness on the planet...

@MeetingJunkieNoMore the Boy Scouts registry of pedophiles is 10 to 20 times smaller than the Watchtower's. It's awful they keep any lists confidential when the well-being of children is at stake.

All apologies @hamsterbait! As InterestedOne pointed out, I did correct myself on my post. It didn't hit me until I got a pm that I misread the date on the BOE letter.

they always use that abstain from...blood text. never utilizing the words the elipses replace. i am finding it hard to locate a witness who knows what ... replaces.

i would kill for that list to be made public. it would make the watchtowers ability to deny they have so many pedophiles null.
if that list was made public and any of those pedophiles had hurt a kid after their name made the list it would ruin the organization.

CORRECTION: the April 9 2012 BOE letter I mention was sent a month prior to the verdict. It was not sent in contrast to the verdict, but understandably within a window that the Society could gage the outcome given the failed settlement attempt as well as the damaging testimony by their own people.
My apologies for improperly dating evidence.

I'm having some Fun with "hate" your broder with JW
by pallemar inwel the reson to jw shunning politiks, is what you can't have any contack to a broder who comments "sin" well, then what about this then ?
1 john 4:20 if anyone says, i love god, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love god whom he has not seen.. 1 john 2:9 whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.. .
and the wathtower magazine, say you have to hate your "former" broder, in a bibel understanding ;).

It's redundancy by now. The Society always speaks out of both sides of their mouths with loaded language. There is a reason they have a public version of the Watchtower AND a "study" version. The public version NEVER details what the understanding of the Witness is. This way, they can use words like "disfellowship" and still appeal to the unlearned public.
They tell the public it means the Witness committed a grievous sin without repent, and the public goes "that's understandable because they must be really bad people if they're getting kicked out." Likening it to Catholic excommunication, because it takes a pretty evil bastard to get kicked out of the Catholic Congregation.
But the public doesn't know it doesn't stop at being kicked out, that it means losing family and friends. That you're discouraged as an active Witness in good standing from communicating with people outside of the congregation so you'll have no one to turn to should you be disfellowshipped. That if you were a convert, you'd been trained to believe you life before the Society was a sham perpetrated by liars and sinners, and if you were born in, you were raised believing every non-Witness is a ravenous, evil agent of Satan bent on raping and/or murdering you. So not only is it unlikely you'll have someone to help you adjust, you judge everyone with a baseless accusation ingrained with fear by the "warm Christian" Organization.
And if you're employed by a Witness, kiss your job goodbye. If you employ Witnesses, good luck running your company. And if you do business with other Witnesses, kiss your income goodbye. The public doesn't know this. But Witnesses do.
And because of thought stopping techniques, "Stan D. Man is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses" is just a declaration in the public perception, harmless. But that sentence heard by a Witness translates to:
"Stan D Man is an Apostate. He is to be treated with disdain as he is a rebelious, selfish liar. His words cannot ever be trusted, and anything he offers as proof of his good standing in Jehovah is obviously tampered with because THERE IS NO GOOD STANDING OUTSIDE OF THE ORGANIZATION. Any compassion or sympathy directed toward him will result in an Organization-wide persecution of you and any supporters you may have."
Clearly not the same thing. And they feel peachy about omitting those facts because the public isn't worthy of this information in their eyes. The public calls it lying. The Watchtower Society calls it spiritual warfare.
Jehovah calls it lying.
