  i haven't seen anything newer than the original july 2013 articles about him.

  any word on him?.

  for those who don't know/remember, he was the san diego jehovah's witness who molested numerous children in the 90's.

  Guns and Martial Arts

  my wife's jw sister bought a gun after someone broke into her house and apparently no one in her circles has an issue with it.

  her only friends are jw's and she's posted about buying the gun and target practice a few times on facebook.. i remember reading in a '98 wt that witnesses do not buy guns, but i've read on here both that they are allowed to and that they're banned.. i also remember in the elder manual "pay attention to yourself and all the flock" that learning martial arts was frowned upon and disqualified jws from priveleges.

  my wife's olderst brother, also a jw has been actively learning martial arts since my wife was born without any sanctions or punishment.. could somebody fill me in on where the watchtower stands today on these positions?.

  just a few issues i had from looking at this potential new york-printed toilet paper:.

  pg 4: the lie that made god nameless.

  this sub-article talks about how god's name is jehovah and quotes isaiah 42:8 "i am jehovah.

  i can't recall the official statement from the wts regarding jws making jw sites (jwfacts may have a good knowledge of it), but i was under the impression their official stance was "don't.".

  A rant regarding Gonzalo Campo and Youtube

  news team 10 in san diego reported on campo's actions with that revealing video deposition by campo himself.

  by the policies created and ordered by the watchtower society, gonzalo campo was protected as a known serial pedophile and awarded a position of authority and access to children after the fact.. when candace conti's story became public, many active witnesses denied it was even a thing.

  others who couldn't deny it sought to blame her and in a personal conversation between myself and a handful of jehovah's witnesses, i learned that there were those among the ranks who believe any nine year old girl is capable of seducing a grown man.

  WTS view on Atheists: Need reference
