on glenn beck's website theblaze the following article appears.. i'm snipping and pasting for your comments.. i think this is one of the most important issues facing society: bible worship.. were it not for the smokescreen of bible infallibility, for example, the watchtower society would not have the platform they need to dominate the minds of 7 million followers.. .
i think both beck and o'donnell are ill-equipped to be proponents for/against--but, at least both are high-profile.. scan through this article and pick out the salient points.. then give your thoughts on this tension of orthodoxies.... .
last week, msnbcs lawrence odonnell unleashed upon the christian bible, making bold proclamations against its contents and dismissing it as a book that is outdated and inhumane.
he proved the claim that the bible is outdated by ignoring the point that nobody follows it in its entirety.
and when a christian can give a straight answer about whose covenant we are supposed to be under we can see who follows the bible in its entirety. fact is that if we are under the mosaic covenant then we shouldnt follow the christian covenant and vice versa. so beck proves the bible is outdated. the bible proves no one follows it in its entirety.
mormons suck.
you don't even have to read between the lines, they say it straight out on their website.
" in many countries, more and more people obtain information online.".
who'd a thunk it .
so they embrace the evil apostate internet to explain away cutting the magazine in half. guess it helps cover the fact of the financial burden of covering up pedophilia.
i feel i must preface this with context so as to make the intention understandable: .
to jehovah's witnesses and their apologists, that goal is destruction of truth and the downfall of jehovah's witnesses.
but that's not our goal.
problem addict
um... i was under the impression tim kilgore woke up a number of witnesses outside the wt cult. and ms. anderson as well as mr. bowen.
could be wrong. but if not then its wrong to claim that work cannot be done once they leave.
i am going to revisit this plan tomorrow because i know what will work and so do a few others.

i would suggest starting a site. maybe www.notonjw.org is available
two jehovah's witnesses 'murdered 13 people on mission from god to cleanse world of sinners'.

kinda helps the russian government argue why jehovahs witnesses should be illegal.
interesting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.
1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .
2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!
vidiot
i think when they called apostate mentally diseased it could be considered mocking.

chaserious...
so 5000 jws on jwn leave. thats 5000 in one day or week and as you said it would be about what they baptise in a week. that means a zero gain.
the membership of jwn alone can stall their growth for a week. i imagine the could inspire the half that doesnt agree during the initial event.
but i wasnt limiting the idea to jwn. i was suggesting worldwide networking. even with just 5000 jwn members we could reach another 10000 or more that never frequented this site.
stalling their growth for an average of three weeks would be a small victory. but the rumble of 15000 jehovahs witnesses disassociating would make alot of noise among the rank and file.
but thats only if 5000 faders and doubters decided bringing down the society is worth the risks.

but that's not our goal.
i say do it. millions at best. thousands at least. anonymous letters hitting random congregations seems like a bold effort.
hi guys i need some help here and wonder if any of you can offer some comments .the second baptismal question is :"do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of jehovah's witnesses in association with god's spirit-directed organization?
".
which spirit are they talking about since it is not refered to as the holy spirit?.
Angels are spirits. The WTS doesnt make the claim that it's the Holy Spirit-driven Organization, so the possibility of it being a Satan-driven Organization is on the table.
