  I'm not an expert so IMO a Christian is someone who believes and follows in the Christ of the New Testament. What all that entails depends on what sect of Christianity one belongs to.

  I'm not Christian because I no longer believe in the Divinity of Christ although I believe that Jesus may have been historical. I do not believe that I need a mediator to speak to God. I do not believe that I need to be "saved". I do not believe in the bible as divine or as inspired of God.

  i happened to come across this case today: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/wooley_v._maynard.

  "george maynard and his wife, followers of the jehovah's witnesses faith, viewed the motto as repugnant to their moral, religious, and political beliefs, and for this reason they covered up the motto [live free or die] on the license plates of their jointly owned family automobiles.".

  it appears this guy kept getting fined by the local cops for covering up the license plate motto!

  What happened to Caesar's things to Caesar? BTW I think the motto has Libertarian roots. I couldn't care less about what my license plate said. Well actually I do. I have vanity tags :)

  i hardly know what else to call it.

  i have felt many emotions in my life and anxiety, many times but this is different.. it's a sense of the impending, a build up of pressure like a wall of water behind a cracking dam.

  scully mentioned ja'el: drugging and driving a tent spike through the head (we all remember the awesome bible stories illustration) of the enemy general.. list yours along with a description of why they were so badass!.

  This thread rocks! I was about to say Jezebel. Non-JW sources say she was a head priestess and basically wore the pants in the family. When the dudes killed her, she wasn't trying to seduce them, she wanted to go out like the queen that she was in all her finery.
