  607B.C.E. date changed from 606B.C.E. when no year zero

  the revelation books clearly shows that the date 606b.c.e was believed to be the destruction of jerusalem in the original jw doctrine.. when it was discovered that there was no year zero, this was changed to 607b.c.e.

  without question.. on page 105 the revelation book quotes:.

  providentially, those bible students had not realized that there is no zero year between "b.c.

  What was the weirdest thing ever said to you as a JW?

  i was about 8-10 years old and twice i had people tell me that i should not pioneer but to go to bethel because i "was governing body material".. one was a co and another a do.. i didn't even believe in god, never have so that makes it weird!.

  what wierd things were told?.

  yes, they are becoming the "weetower" and the "halfasleep".. they are moving some articles over to jw.org and i have a few reasons why i think they are doing this:.

  Man Can't Rule Himself

  i've heard it said from the platform that "man can't rule himself".. satan challenged god's authority and god left man to rule himself.. unfortunately, god changed the rules and man now dies.

  so each generation or two* needs a new ruler with new rules.. it seems that either man dies or god is ruler in the mind of a jw.

  this isn't true - mathematically this creates four scenarios:.
